Vampire Knight Artbook: Places to order. ❤

As promised, I bring you a list of links of places where you can order the VK artbook. ^^/❤

Once I can I'll either make a new post or edit this one to add previews of some of the inside of the book. :D ❤
(Once I'm done with my current time swallowing work deadline... ^^;;;; Might take some days.)

If you want to see already some of the images inside the book, you can see it through the links in my previous post from some days ago. (Some fans got lucky and got the book days before the official release date, and they kindly posted about it. :D)

Click for a MUCH bigger image of the
front cover, courtesy of Amazon Japan.

The full cover has the trio, although in the thumbnails in shop sites you can only see the front cover. But rest assured that all three of our beloved main trio are on it, as you can see from the images in the link in my previous post. :D❤

Keep in mind that in Japan, the book costs under 2000 yen (about $20), but that when ordering from shops out of Japan (like YesAsia), it will be a bit more since they'll have to factor into the price the shipping they paid too, between Japn and their shop. ^^/
(And some places have cheaper shipping than others, so I advise you take a look around before deciding which shop is best for you. I wouldn't know which might be cheaper for you since I wouldn't know how much it would cost to ship to each country. But you can always check before buying. ^^/)

HMV Japan. (About $20.)

YesAsia World | YesAsia US. (About $30.)

CDJapan. (About $20.)

Amazon Japan. (About $20, but they're only doing expedited shipping and so it might really bump the price up depending on where you live.)

◆ And as a bonus:
    Pre-order for the English release of the fanbook. (It needs your love too. X3)
    UK pre-order. (Thanks to yukiya_ayase for the link! :D )

Edit to add: Singapore Publisher Chuang Yi has released on July 07 an English edition of the first VK novel~!
You can order it on the publisher's online store here. ^^/
On the link they also have a really nice preview with several pages of the beginning of the second story of the book, about Zero's childhood. :D♥
So you definitely should go take a look and check it out if you like Zero too. :D
It can also be ordered from other places with this isbn number: 978-981-4306-38-6

And please, don't forget to buy your local official releases of the VK manga and anime! :D
(Don't fall for the bootlegs, the anime pirated DVDs are so often made with stolen subs AND are generally of horrible quality. Please make sure to only buy the official DVDs and books, otherwise you're not supporting VK since the money goes to bootleggers instead of to the author etc. ^^;;;)

It's important. D: Any series dies without support, and VK may be popular, but it's popular for a shojo manga series, which means not that much compared to big shonen manga blockbusters. We have to support the series we love, as all series die without support. ^^;/

The artbook is all art, there's only a handful of pages that are text, and most of it is just the index of pics at the end of the book with the little blurbs, and the text of what types of pens and inks etc. Hino-sensei used for the pics + the afterword.
If there's anything in it that can be relevant to the story, I'll make sure to post about! ^^/
So you can always order the Japanese edition, don't worry.

If you do prefer to wait for it in English, there's always a possibility that it might come out one day, but keep in mind it won't be the case for a long time, if it ever does. Usually, with contracts and stuff a book tends to only come out licensed a good year or more after the original version, you can never be sure how long it might take.
And the artbook is just about $20, so... it's up to you whether you feel the price is big enough for you to be willing to wait that long, especially without the certainty it will be released in other languages or when it might be. ^^;
(It's always possible to pick it up in both languages if it comes out in other countries later, but you can always buy yourself one now and not have to wait. X3)

In any case, something very important: PLEASE, buy the artbook to support the series, PLEASE don't scan the whole thing if you get it. ^^;;
It's not something like a chapter that has text and that matters for the plot, something that would need to be scanned and translated.
The artbook is pure eye-candy and there's barely any text at all in it, so it can totally be bought anywhere. ^^;;
And it's SO CHEAP. Not supporting and buying it would be so heartbreaking. ^^;

So please, please, don't rely only on scanned stuff, PLEASE, support the series and Hino-sensei, and keep VK alive for us all! :D ❤❤❤

Btw, Hino-sensei made a post on her blog telling some anecdotes of when the publishing house and her were working on the artbook; I'll probably make a post about it sometime, but in case if you wanted to know the contents it was mostly just Hino-sensei mentioning the talk in which the artbook price was decided and things like how they'd thought of giving the book a subtitle/name and thought of some but ended up just going for the title of the series and "Hino Matsuri illustrations", and that's it. ^^/
