It's however okay to say Kaito looks deliciously sick with his sexy immoral sideglances and his dubious idea of ethics. *LOL* XD XD
That's not bashing. XD *lol*

Kaito is a character that was introduced first in one of the VK novels (not the manga), and since the novels haven't been released out of Japan yet so far, I wrote a mini summary of the main points of the story with little Zero and Kaito form the novel 1, so that you get to know a bit what happened and all. ^^/
The manga chapter itself does a great job of introducing him anyway, but that way you'll also have the background story. :D

(Watch out for bootlegs, the anime pirated DVDs are made with stolen subs as usuall, are of horrible quality, and are starting to pop up in so many places nowadays, it's horrible. T__T Please make sure to only buy the official DVDs and books, otherwise you're not supporting VK since the money goes to bootleggers instead of to the author etc. ^^;;;

It's important. D: Any series dies without support, and VK may be popular, but it's popular for a shojo manga series, which means not that much compared to big shonen manga blockbusters.

I didn't have the time to make a summary or anything yet (Edit: I ended up writing a summary anyway XD), but I can already tell you what's the result of the cosplay contest, which was long awaited. XD

If you remember, there was a contest where people would send in ideas of things they wanted the characters to cosplay as, and the winning idea would be drawn as color pages by Hino-sensei. (Examples given in the contest thingie were doctor, rockstar and so on.)

Well, the cosplay idea that won was "angels and demons", so Hino-sensei drew a two page spread pic with Kaname as a demon with Yuuki in his arms/leaning against his chest and Zero next to her both as fallen angels. (Complete with bloody bits of wings to indicate the fallen aspect.)

The text next to it says "which of you is the one that is falling?" [because of the falling angels/loss of wings], which I tend to think it implies which one is falling, as in Zero or Kaname, rather than either Zero or Yuuki despite them being portrayed as the fallen ones... unless they're implying Zero is falling for Kaname, which is highly unlikely, much as I'd ADORE if it was the case, hahaha~ *endlessly yaoi fangirl* XD


I was kinda disappointed because angels and demons is such a cliche theme that's been done over and over and I find it not as fun as vampire stuff, by far, so... :X There was potential for so many wonderful things with the cosplay thing, I'd hoped it would be more than just that.
(Even if I controlled my pervy fangirl self and didn't send in a paper asking for them to dess in bondage outfits for the cosplay image. 8D; *shot*)

Hino-sensei had mentioned that a lot of people had send papers asking for "a certain male character, crossdressing", and that she was amazed that "so many people wanted to see him dressed that way". XDD
She wouldn't reveal which it was, but the Japanese fandom theorizes that it's Kaname, which makes a lot of sense since we already saw Zero as a girl before (even if it wasn't truly Zero, since "Zeroko" was Ichiru's performance passing himself for a female Zero, but still it was utterly delightful as well as hilarious to see "Zero" that way. XD<333 *was happy for it both for the fun side and even more for the yaoi side* XD XD *lol*)

So yeah, we lost our precious chance to see Kaname in a dress in official artwork. *weeps* XD;;;

Still, the chapter itself is wonderfully full of tons of tidbits of moe as usual, even if it's an intermediate/moving-into-more-stuff chapter, in some ways.

And it confirms the VK novels, and brings in a character from the first novel, Kaito. ^^/
(I'll say more stuff about who he is and all from the novel when I post, later. :D)


Ah, I wasn't going to say more about chapter 53 yet, due to the epic lack of time I'm having at the moment, but... *couldn't resist letting you know* XD I wrote a short summary anyway. XD;; *lol*

In clear cliffhangery reference to possible bad intentions on both sides, from Kaito and maybe others on the hunter side perhaps, and from Sara and possibly others on the vampire side as well. (A recipe for trouble, no doubt. ^^; *hopes the Kurans & Zero will be fine, as well as the chairman and our other favorites* D:)

I'm amused, because a long time ago, I did a pic of her as fanart of her in volume 6, long before she showed up again in the story... and I'd gotten her colors right. XD *lol* Blue eyes and blond hair. X3
(The blond was more easy to guess, but the eyes could have been anything, so I'm amused and surprised that I'd guessed it right. :D)

It's the image that Hino-sensei drew for the theme submitted by the winner of the contest, who asked for "Angels and demons cosplay", and who (there was some more info elsewhere in LaLa about the submissions :D) asked for Kaname as a demon with his fallen angels, Yuuki and Zero...

Like I was saying, I feel that sort of theme is cliche and so overdone, so I'd been hoping for so much more than that from such a full-of-potential contest... ^^;; But oh well, Hino-sensei's art is still gorgeous despite the theme.

I must add though, as a threesome fan: MUCH MOE & FANGIRLING, from [skip those lines if you are horrified by porny innuenddo. XD;;;] the fact Yuuki is in Kaname's arms with her face as if she was, err, just getting back up from some interesting place, and her butt up right in front of Zero. Zero, who is also holding some sort of phallic shaped long spear made of vines in his hand! XD
Threesome action nao, anyone? 8D *is shot for uber pervy mind*

Not to mention Yuuki's clothes are practically transparent and pretty much torn. XD XD We readers are clearly interrupting a, err, interesting moment between the three. XD *is shot yet again* XD *lol*

Well, let's say I'd be absolutely DELIGHTED and all bouncy-happy. XD XD XD *pervy fangirl, and is also always looking forward to fanfiction based on the new chapter, pervy or not, each month* X3 It's a lot of fun~!

It took longer than usual, sorry. ^^; *still getting used to the new scanner and had to tweak stuff a lot, plus ended up also being pretty busy with other stuff and had chaos timing all together, so it took forever* ^^;



Please don't bash ANY of the characters or pairings. ^^;;;

In a moment of anger against characters you don't like much, you may even think the hatred and bile are justified, but they are NOT ;-;, so please remain respectful of the feelings of your fellow fans, and express your opinions in a courteous and polite manner. (And obviously, no obscenities or name calling, against characters or fellow fans or anything. D: It's just so unpleasant to see!)


There was some character bashing in the other entry with the summary and it saddens me. T_T The mild stuff I left, but the obscenities etc. had to go, of course.

Guys, love whatever character and whatever pairing you like, but DO NOT bash the other characters or pairings please. ^^;;;/
Have respect for the other fans who like them, and for yourself too, because if you love a certain pairing, you should have some faith in it instead of feeling like you need to flame the "enemy" pairing to feel better. D:
That's NOT how it's supposed to work. Fandom is to be enjoyed, love the series, love the characters you prefer, don't bring hatred into it. If you dislike a character that much, maybe you should just ignore it, or put down the book until you cool down. D:


Even if you're furious about your favorite pairing not being proeminent in a chapter, it still doesn't justifies any bashing behavior.
The constructive and adult way to react is to either enjoy whatever fandom activity with your favorite characters in a happy manner (fanfic etc for example) while waiting for the ones you like to be in the spotlight another time (believe me, my favorite OTP being Zero x Kaname, I have to constantly do that to enjoy them as a couple, since hoping for those two to end up together in the series is rather impossible, hahaha XD; So much of the fun has to be via fanfics etc.).
Or simply stay away for a bit until you cool down can express your opinions without bashing or flaming, please. D:

Whatever you do, don't attack fellow fans and don't bash. ^^/ Bashing isn't tolerated here, as it hurts feelings and lessens the enjoyment of the fandom. ^^;;
(I know that when I'm all bouncy/happy and full of moe, there's nothing like seeing character bashing to kill my mood right away and make me gloomy and uncreative instead. D: *has then to go recharge the moe before being able to draw etc.*)


Enjoy the chapter, don't bring hatred into it. ^^/

Summary:


Meanwhile, for those of you who NEED TO KNOW, and don't mind spoilers, I wrote a summary. :D

It's pretty detailed for a large part, and follows what happens as well as most of the gist of what they tell each other. ^^/
(Err, at least Zero, Kaname and Yuuki. My summary priority drops steadily as it gets farther from the main trio. 8D; *LOL*)

And as you know if you've followed my previous posts, China tends to get the magazine a bit earlier since it ships early and the the shops there put it for sale before the official date, so Chinese fans tend to be lucky. :)
As a result, often Chinese fans have posted small scans online so that others could read it early.

And yet, despite that kindness, they were regularly repaid with people stealing their scans, showing no respect (people never asking, claiming credit for themselves and so on), and it resulted in people getting SO fed up that many forums started limiting registrations etc, and more recently, people in various places weren't really motivated to even go and scan it this month because people always steals it. Which is why there wasn't the chapter little scans that people see online even a little bit earlier sometimes.

But one of the Chinese fans ended up still posting in her photobucket photos she took of the pages of her magazine, so if you want to read (AND PLEASE DO NOT STEAL HER THINGS O_o SERIOUSLY), you can find it here on her account.

PLEASE, be a respectful person. D: Don't repay with theft the one person who was willing to upload.


Okay, so, I'll have my LaLa as soon as possible when I can get out for a moment and buy the magazine too, and I'll be scanning and scanlating as I do each month, so you should have the chapter tomorrow in English, normally. ^^/ *hopes the new scanner will go through the pages all well* X3

It's not something that always happens, but they did it twice so far, once with volume 9 and more recently with volume 10... It's a special event of sorts in which the publisher of VK will have a limited time thing with a single large store in Japan, or sometimes a few stores of a same big chain in a particular area, and there will be a limited edition print of Hino-sensei's artwork drawn especially for that occasion, and which you can get while supplies last if you are buying the first press of the latest VK volume at that shop having the event.
They've done it twice, as a celebration/promotional event for the release of the latest volume.

Needless to say, it's VERY limited, and it finishes VERY fast, to the point where even in Japan, there are violent bid wars for those prints in auctions, and scalpers and all, because it's so limited that often by the time people hear of it and get to the shop that's doing it, it's gone...

I'm one such victim who got to be ripped nicely in auctions for having her beloved Kaname print, hahaha. XD;; (Back on volume 9, as I found out about it after they had sold out).

Even more so, because I managed to snag both the Kaname print, and the even more limited print with Aidou, Cain and Kaname in a bonus mini-manga follow up to the fanbook which Hino-sensei did for the limited edition prints. *ω*/

That print was only available in a single shop for a limited time, and disappeared super fast as everybody rushed for it, of course.

However, VK fans of the whole world can benefit from my compulsive VK obsession now... ;D *lol*

Because naturally, I just HAD to have every single one of those limited prints. *-*/// *VK love*

I know it costs money, but the books themselves and depending on where you live for shipping as well, but it's not much. D: Look at the price of a mere shirt in any shop, or of a sandwich etc, and you've quickly covered the price of a book.

And if you live in a place where it's a lot more expensive to import, there might be an official local release cheaper than importing, or maybe you can wait a bit and buy the books slower. :X

Also, please don't scan doujinshi, ;-; Every time someone steals a fanart or scan a doujin, a level E kills a kitten.
XD;; *lol* Not quite, but it hurts the fanartists feelings pretty badly, and sometimes it kills smaller doujin circles by making them leave the fandom etc. because they can't sell their stuff and feel robbed by people redistributing their stuff that way. :X

Doujinshi is not like manga, which is a true commercial product making lots of money etc.
Doujinshi is like fanart, and when the artist can pay for the printing costs, he/she's lucky. :X Especially in a fandom like VK with few doujinshi. :X

Already, with manga, which is a commercial product and all, you're not supposed to just read scans, you need to also buy the books to support the series, or it isn't right. ^^;;// (The scans I provide are merely a replacement for the magazine so that people in other countries can read the chapter while they wait for the books to be out.)

VK doujinshi is terribly rare as it is because so few people make it, so please don't sink the ship by scanning what little exists. ^^;;
Hunt for the doujinshis themselves on auctions and shops etc, and purchase them for your own for your collection (when you find them sold by decent people who don't charge obscene prices...), but please don't hurt the fanartists and the fandom by scanning doujinshi or downloading and distributing doujin scans. ^^//


VK is a lovely fandom, so I have the strong hope that by getting people to know about the issue, they'll understand and respect it. :D ♥ ♥ ♥





 

 



I was trying to see if I could get LaLa insanely early this month (yesterday...), but sadly it was not possible after all. :X

In China it came out today (it ships a bit earlier from Japan and then shops there put it for sale when it arrives instead of on the official release date, which causes it to be out there a bit earlier than in Japan etc. often), they already have LaLa, so I got to read the chapter in a Chinese forum.

Due to how often people stole from this site and other sites before, I must remind, PLEASE DON'T STEAL THEIR SCANS. D: D: Seriously. -__-;;

If you are a member there and can log in, do see the scans there if you feel like, or otherwise, please simply wait a little bit longer until I can get my LaLa and scan it for you to read. ^^//
Taking their scans and reuploading on your own is not right. People have stolen from various forums so often that now there's GIANT watermarks etc. because people want to avoid the scan theft, and as a result, it's hard to read.
The person who scanned it paid for her LaLa and put in the effort to scan. Stealing her stuff would be disrespectful and ungrateful. So please don't. :X

As for us:

I'll probably have LaLa tuesday or wednesday at most. (Release date is officially the 24th, but I might be able to get it on the 23rd.)

So it's almost here for you to read as well. ;)

My twitter account is a nice place to get the latest news. However, it's less cool if you grab the stuff and then repost elsewhere without saying/linking where you found it. ^^;;;

Because from what I was told, people are all wondering what that pic above is... And well, this wouldn't be happening, if whoever reposted it had done so giving a link to my twitter, where the pic was originally posted. >XD;;

Apparently, one (or more?) people took the pic off my twitter account and reposted it around without saying where they found it, so other people were all confused wondering what it even was.
(Please at least credit/link your sources if you repost a scan/etc. :X That avoids everybody being confused once they see unknown pics wandering around.)


As for what it is:
It's a recent pic Hino-sensei drew for a limited thing in only some shops in Japan.
I posted it on twitter some days ago, explaining about it.

It displays a peaceful scene with the trio, where Kaname, Yuuki and Zero are hanging out together at a cafe. Kaname got the drinks, hence the playful putting-drink-on-head stuff going on. :3 (Light years away from the usual angst from the story itself. XD *wishes the three would just get in a threesome and be all happy like that* X3 ♥)

I own one of those limited prints, and was planning to post a bigger version/proper scan when I can scan it etc. ^^/
So just some more patience until I can get to doing it, and you'll be able to see the whole thing in full size. :)
It was going to be a surprise, but people taking it off my twitter, reposting elsewhere without link and confusing everybody kind of ruined the novelty. :-/ Eh.

And now that you must all be going "O_o ???" wondering what it is (XD), it's a VK DS game guidebook, doubling as an artbook of it with game CG images and gorgeous promo images from B's LOG magazine. *0* *EPIC WANT*

(It also explains various things in the game, though by now we've all been playing it for a while so that might be less vital than the pretty art. XD Even epic-fail-at-games-me found the game wasn't so hard. XD (Much to my amazement. I actually really rock at the dance mini-game, better even than my gamer husband. O_o *total surprise* I couldn't believe it, as I'm normally so much fail I have to ask him for help when playing other games. XD;)
The things that extreme fangirling does to a person. It gives super powers. XD *rotfl* At the horrifying idea that I wouldn't be able to do get Kaname if I failed at the dance, I aced it on the first try, and got a perfect or near perfect on the second try. XD;;)

I'm sure various other shops with cheaper shipping will also be selling it sooner or later. :)

I can totally relate to the feeling, as I've also lived through having our beloved kitty going back and forth to a hospital, and it's very scary. ;-;
When I read about their kitty, I just had to pass the link along too, in hopes of helping/getting more people to help him too. ^^/ I so hope he'll be okay and recover all fine and soon.

Volume 10 of VK is out~! (Japanese release. Official date June 5th.)

Truth to be said, I bought it two days ago already, but have been meaning to post about it since then and couldn't find time. XD;;; ORZ

I finally have a moment, so I'll be scanning and posting the cover images + the book's extra pages this week-end. ^_^/

There's no new bonuses since I scanlate all the stuff that comes out right as it comes out in the magazines, so you've already read all the new bonus chapters from this volume as they came out in LaLa DX and LaLa Special. (They were the one with little Yuuki and her mom, and the one with Zero & Ichiru with the chairman), but there's a few extra pages that Hino-sensei drew for the book version. ^^/

It's mostly pics that she'd done for the "teasers of the next chapter" type of pics, that end up in between chapters to decorate the empty page in the book, but there were a few new images drawn especially for volume 10.

The most interesting ones being an extra image of post-chapter-46 Zero, with Yuuki's scythe in the forefront as they part (see part of it in the preview), and an added page Hino-sensei did at the end of chapter 47, added to the scene where Yuuki is leaving with Kaname and sees Zero carrying Ichiru.
Kaname leaves her alone for a moment and she says her farewell to Zero before leaving. (Not a lot happens though, it's just Yuuki speaking. <-- I'm warning just in case so that people don't get disappointed of the fact almost nothing happens in the extra page. XD;)

Not much to scanlate as there's so little text, but I'll be doing it & posting the page when I have a moment, probably today or tomorrow. :D

On top of those pages, the older VK mini manga pages Hino-sensei did for the drama CDs are also all included as bonuses on that volume, so I'll be scanning those too. There's also a lovely thingie she did for ON/OFF, with them in their day & night class uniforms, manga style. :D

I meant to post this days ago, then I got swamped and didn't have time until now. XD; ORZ

As you already know, in a recent entry I was asking people to please consider the negative effects that character/pairing bashing can have over fandom. ^^;/

Bashing not only can hurt the feelings of the fans who like the character(s) being bashed, but it also creates an unpleasant vibe that makes people not feel like interacting in fandom as much when there's too much bashing going on. And that's never a good thing. ^^;

I'm mentioning the problem because lately there's more and more bashing going on in the fandom.

Bashing has increased for all characters, but patterns of it seem to change over time. Currently, the majority of the bashing is against Kaname, but I was looking around at more different places more recently, and found out that depending on the moment or the site, Zero also is bashed more often than I'd seen it happen with him before, (although still nowhere as much as how much Kaname is bashed in the English speaking fandom).
Either way, it doesn't matters who is being bashed, all bashing is harmful regardless of what's the target. There's no character that's "okay" to bash. (This should be obvious, but just in case. XD;)

This depends on the country though, because some countries' fandoms are more supportive of one or the other character, depending on cultural differences and other things. For example, I was told that in the Chinese fandom it's the opposite and Zero is the one being bashed more than Kaname.
(I don't speak Chinese myself, but it makes sense that the way fans perceive a character would change based on their culture, and as such favorite characters and disliked characters would be different in different cultures. Still, it doesn't makes bashing okay, as one must respect the feelings of other fans.)
The English-speaking VK fandom is a bit of an international thing with fans from a lot of different countries, so it's sometimes different from local area-specific fandoms in other languages, and it's also much bigger.
So when bashing of a character becomes widespread in the international fandom, as it's becoming more and more the case with Kaname, there's really little fans can do to escape it. D:

We, yaoi fans shipping Zero & Kaname together XD *lol* err, people who are fans of both of them (yaoi or not XD *lol*), have a little luck at least, in knowing that one of our favorites is bashed less, but still, it doesn't changes that bashing is such a turn-off. Ideally neither should be bashed at all. D:
The amount of virulence I've seen thrown against Kaname is particularly scary (at Yuuki too, especially in recent months), even though the ones attacking Zero are also of course unfair, as any bashing is a bad thing. ^^; Bashing is hurtful regardless of who you're bashing, or what reasons you think you have to bash. :X)

The previous entry was getting a bit confusing and based on some of the questions people asked (particularly about what exactly constitutes bashing), I think that it would be best if I make more clear what I'm talking about when I say "bashing", as it seems people sometimes have the mistaken impression that just disliking a character might be considered bashing, when it's of course not the case. ^^/
You can't help liking or disliking a character, that's just your freedom of opinion, that's not bashing. It becomes bashing when it ceases to be an opinion to become the expression of hatred towards that character.
Disliking politely, disagreeing with someone in a civilized and considerate manner is all part of discussing and debating. Hating, however, it different. That's when the dislike crosses the line, ceasing to be an opinion and evolving to the expression of bashing/ flaming/ etc. ^^; Hatred is never positive, nor does it creates a positive environment to discuss in. It of course all depends on the way you express your feelings.

So I'm writing a follow up entry in hopes of making it more clear. ^^/
With little chibies of the three main characters to make the text less boring. XD; *lol*


Btw, this is naturally all just meant as food for thought. ^^/
It's not like I'm trying to tell you what is or is not "right", of course. XD
It's just that bashing saddens me, and I love this fandom so much that I can't just close my eyes and not care. (Especially since seeing the bashing also ruins my enjoyment... -_-;;)
I feel the need to explain why it is a problem, in hopes that by reading it, people might consider the question more than they might have otherwise if they hadn't heard of the fact that it bothers people. ^^;
I just hope that by reading this, people will think of the problem, and will hopefully feel like taking a gentler approach to character discussion, so that the fans of different characters can enjoy the fandom life in harmony and peacefully. :D ♥

Most often, it's character or pairing aimed bashing that happens, so this is what I'm talking about mostly. There's also anti-yaoi bashing, anti-all-sorts-of-things bashing and so on, because unfortunately the human nature often is to attack that which is different from the way they think. :( (That tendency is the mother of many ugly things mankind does...)
But as that still tend to happen less often in our fandom than character bashing, I'll be focusing on the character & pairing aimed type of bashing. ^^/

I'd hope it would be obvious by now that flaming people because they like yaoi is nonsensical as well. (And yet, from time to time I still get hate-mail for drawing yaoi. XD;; Ha... Despite how many warnings and "don't click if you dislike yaoi!" thingies I put in the yaoi themed posts I make. XD;)

(By the way: If you read this far, you've pretty much covered the most important points in this post, the rest is each of these points going into deeper detail and explanations, pretty much. ^^/)

I was first told of this rumor by a friend who saw it at another site, and we both found it utterly nonsensical since we read the manga and the rumor thing didn't happen at all...

I thought it would be just one of those "someone had a really weird idea, but that's it", but then I got PMs from people asking me if it was true or not in the manga. And since apparently at least one of them believed the rumor might be true, I figured other people might have the same doubt, or maybe people might have reposted that rumor in different places or something, and so I'm making a post about it to get the rumor out of the way already. ^^/

Rumors can be annoying to people trying to enjoy the canon without getting misinformation, so I find it best to debunk when a weird one pops up. ^^/
Hence this post and other rumor-debunking ones I made before. :D

Guys, Zero is NOT dead. ^^/


Chapter 50 is the most recent chapter of VK. Anyone telling you (or posting in sites/forums/Youtube/etc.) saying they saw some "scene with him dead in a lot of blood and people crying around", is either making it up, or just passing on untrue rumors they read elsewhere.

Zero is alive and doing fine. :D In fact, he's currently doing better than he ever did since Shizuka bit him, things are finally starting to look so much better for him.
(Aside from the heartbreak of course. I mean that physically he's doing better than ever.)

So no, he's not dead, and not dying any time soon. ^_^/

Also, believe me, if such a thing had happened, I'd have made a post about it. :X

Besides, chapter 51 won't be out for quite a while (June 24th), so there's no 'random' raws that haven't been scanlated yet. (I'm assuming it's what people were thinking the supposed image mentioned in the rumor came from? Since that image doesn't exists and from the description it was obviously not in any of the previous chapters. XD:)

My scanlations are as always up to date with the magazine release in Japan, and as such there's no new manga stuff that you haven't seen yet, if you follow my posts.
Hino-sensei also never reveals anything ahead of time, so there's no leaks.

(Not to mention that since we're only halfway through the series, it would make no sense for either Zero or Kaname to die now. ^^; If any of them were to die in a tragic conclusion of the dramatic love story (VK is supposed to be a love tragedy after all), it would be rather by the end and not now...)

So no need to worry~! He's alive and fine. :D


What is particularly weird about the rumor is that people passing the story on asking if it's true are Zero fans. (At least the people who PM'ed were. It was also the case when there was a similar rumor last year.)
It makes sense that they'd be concerned for their favorite character, but since they're his fans, they can also know it didn't happen in the manga or anything... ^^/
So don't fall for lame rumors~! :D There's no need to worry, things are starting to look better for his future than they were for a while. :D

Well, at least I think this rumor is still tiny, so it's faster to debunk than something people actually passed on for a while or something. XD;


And another thing that I was also asked about...: No, chapter 50 is NOT the last chapter of VK nor it is anywhere near the end. XD;

Hino-sensei said in an interview that VK had two main arcs, and we've just entered the beginning of the second main arc, so there's still a while to go. If the second arc is the same size as the first, then it could be another 10 volumes. (She didn't say if they were both of similar size, so we don't know yet if it will be the same, longer or shorter.)
I think almost everybody already knows this, but every so often there's people who maybe didn't read before and who ask if it will end right away or something. ^^;

The first part of the first main arc focused on Zero, then the second part (of the first main arc focused on Yuuki), and lately we've moved to Kaname, as you can see from the fact that he's been showing up more in the recent chapters. It might shift again during this new arc, or switch between the characters or something, depending on the length. Hino-sensei didn't say, naturally. (She never reveals plot details ahead of time.)

So we don't know yet what will happen in the future in VK, but we can know that there's still a while to go, luckily, and also many things to happen + a lot more enjoyment to be had by the fans of all three main characters. :D

By the way, if people could calm down and quit bashing so much, it would rock. ^^;
I've seen some pretty scary reactions to characters in the recent months/chapters. ;-;

It's particularly painful for us yaoi fans XD; people who focus on the guys together more than on a pairing with Yuuki, since we love both Kaname and Zero and always feel sad when we see anyone bashing either of them. Well, at least I feel that way. ;-; *Zero x Kaname OTP*
(I also feel sad when I see people saying Yuuki should die, but I can't help loving the two guys more. XD; *lol* Even though I also love Yuuki, and of course don't like to see her being bashed either. ^^;)


I don't know how come or why exactly, but luckily Zero bashing almost never happens. It's pretty rare. As a Zero fan, I'm delighted by that, but I wish it was the case for all the characters too.
Most often, it's anti-Kaname bashing that happens a lot. Some of the more extreme fans really trash Kaname, hating him pretty badly. :(
(Of course there's Zero bashing too, more or less depending on the site or what's going on in the manga, but it's usually rather rare compared to the Kaname bashing.
Perhaps it comes from the fact that Zero is a more openly readable character in some aspects (except the deeper vampire hunger, which makes it harder to guess what he's thinking), while Kaname is generally really difficult to read, so I think people more often perceive Kaname as darker and "evil", resulting in muuuuch more bashing towards him than towards Zero.)

I know that many people who support Zeki are unhappy at the current chapters, and some of them (only some) end up hating Kaname as a result, but it's no justification to bash. ^^;;
Edit to add: I'm obviously NOT attacking Zeki fans. As I mentioned, only some extreme fans react that way.
(Then there's also the issue of Zero and Kaname disliking each other, which makes that sometimes fans feel they must "do the same", or "avenge their favorite" and whatnot, but the pairing with Yuuki thing tends to get more reactions by far. Which might explain why the bashing is so heavier since the recent chapters. :X)

During the whole time when Yuuki and Zero were all the time together and having all those intimate blood drinking moments etc., no one was doing bashing campaigns against Zero claiming he was "taking Yuuki from Kaname" or whatever such things, so it's not fair to do it to Kaname because she left the school with him. ^^;;
Both love her, whoever gets her in the end is just trying to get the woman they love, so it's odd to think it's wrong for one to do it and right for the other. It's fair for both Zero and Kaname to try to get Yuuki.
(Of course, I personally support them in a threesome, which would make it all so much happier and easier... XD;; Even if such an ending is rather unlikely, unfortunately.)

Both characters must be equally respected, because they both have fans that feel hurt if people bash them. ^^/
Please respect the feelings of the other fans and don't bash any of the characters~! ^^/

I have SO MUCH love for the fans who support Zeki and yet don't bash Kaname because of the way the story is going. ♥
(And vice-versa of course.)

Of course, everybody can have whatever opinion they feel like, and anyone can like or dislike whomever they want, but hate is a different thing that goes beyong dislikes or opinions.
Hate actually hurts the fans of the character being bashed, so it's not the same as just an opinion. And when there's so many people focusing hatred on one character, it can really make the online fandom less enjoyable for the fans of that character. ^^;

EDIT: A little edit to clarify in case I wasn't clear enough, (and also to add something because there's someone posting trolling anon comments that make no sense, to try and start a flame war with people):
I'm obviously not accusing either side nor any group of fans. As it's obvious in my post, I said (over and over...) that the bashing of any character is bad.
It doens't matters what pairing you support, all bashing is bad. I just said one group of fans was less lucky than the other, because one of the characters is bashed more often than the other. This doesn't constitutes in any way any form of attack obviously. And I'm part of both sides anyway, as I love both characters.

As for what exactly bashing is:
Bashing is when people express hatred for a character, especially in an excessive manner. Bashing is not a normal critic of a character, nor a normal opinion saying you dislike that character. Bashing is when it's done in a way that results unfair or hurtful to the character's fans.

"Fighting" each other is not the point of fandom. Anyone who says that bashing and flaming is normal and should be 'fun' is, well, viewing things in a rather strange fashion. ^^; (The anon trolling was claiming that people should bash and flame... And complaining when people responded without "fighting' 9_9)

So when I say that bashing is unfair because it saddens people, I'm of course not saying that someone mentioning the slightest thing about a character is bad, but that people making a tons of posts to say they hate the character, that the character is despicable, that he/she should die etc... over and over... Well, I'm sure you see how this would lessen the enjoyment of that character's fans. That's what I'm talking about when I say bashing.
We're lucky here on LJ, it doesn't happens often. But because it happens in tons of sites and forums, I'm just mentioning the problem, in hopes pople might think of the issue and hopefully decide against bashing if they felt inclined to do so before. (Believe me, you'll have more fun if you focus on the love rather than the hate. Thinking of annoying things is never as enjoyable.)

The fandom would be happier if people focused on what they love, and didn't bash the characters they dislike. :D
Bashing is pointless after all, it accomplishes nothing but saddening people and making them more angry if they already were that way. ^^;

You love KxY? Great, enjoy it. You prefer ZxY? Just as great, enjoy it too. There's immensely fangirlable moments for both pairings in the manga, depending on which volume you look in, so everybody can be happy without fights. :D

And there are so many constructive ways to enjoy the pairing you like without having to bash the "rival" pairing. Fandom is for love and enjoyment, not for bashing. :D


I don't mean to be saying that people should</u> do this or that, of course. ^^;;;
It's just my two cents, I'm just saying what I think would be best since people would enjoy fandom more with love rather than hatred. :D ♥

I HAD to put that pic of Zero in the preview. His pose & smile were just so hot that it caused me three hours of a sleazy grin on my face. XD

Also, this chapter has filled me with such IMMENSE Zero x Kaname moe ever since I put my hands in the magazine, can you imagine how hard it was to resist the temptation to write fanfiction right away instead of spending the entire night scanlating? XD;;;
It was HARD. XD *was so terribly tempted, and the playlist filled with sexy Zero x Kaname yaoi inducing songs didn't help either* 8D;;
As soon as I have time again next, I'm SO SO writing OODLES of fanfiction with the moe from this chapter. 8D;;;

It took longer than usual, probably because I've been sick lately. (Flu with really bad timing to catch so close to the chapter coming out ^^;)
Usually I don't pass out asleep on the table in the middle of it. 8D;;; *lol* *was making a pause while cleaning the scans, suddenly noticed a while had passed and she was almost drooling on her table* XD;;;; Urg. XD;;

(Hence taking pauses, though my energy still held better than expected. XD *is a brute that is not as affected by flu etc, probably due to pureblood healing. 8D; *lol*)

Also, 50 is 33% longer than the usual chapters, which must also have made it take longer. XD;; <-- *stupidly spent most of the night wondering why it was taking so much longer, then suddenly realizes the number of pages is in direct correlation to that* 8D;;;;;;;

Unrelatedly, although also on the subject of VK goodies: You might want to be REALLY wary of the VK goodies on Amazon. Seriously, it's scary, I can't find a single official thing there. (I'd have to look more, but so far all I saw for sale there was bootlegs.)

Naturally, Amazon itself is a reputable place and wouldn't sell bootlegs, but the pirated VK goodies are being sold from Amazon Marketplace sellers, so it gets tricky as people think it's legit and get screwed over. D:

If you know it's pirated, at least, if you still want to buy it because you can't find the real deal, it's better than getting scammed not knowing. ^^; (Although of course, it's best if you actually support the series by buying the legit stuff. ^^/)
The really sad thing is when they get people unaware.

For plushies there isn't really a way out of it, since there exists no official VK plushies, so I ended up buying pirated Zero plushies. *shot*

If it's something that exists as an official goodie, then it's always best to get the real deal: first, for the sake of actually supporting VK and Hino-sensei, (as opposed to supporting some pirate company), and secondly, just plain for yourself, and for the value of your money. Bootlegs are made crappily and the shoddy quality really shows, especially since they don't last that long. The real ones on the other hand, are really beautiful and will last long long time. :)

I've been meaning to make a post about the bootleg goodies issue for a while, but haven't had time. ^^;
I still don't have time, but I figured that since I'm writing about it I might as well. XD *lol*

It came out last friday, so I bought the magazine and I meant to scan and post it all sunday, but ended up getting busier with RL stuff than I expected, and so I only got to finish it up and post the scanlation today. ^^;

Yes, I'm alive. XD;; Just have been busier than usual lately.
Hence why this came so late, sorry. ^^/ (But I'm sure there's still people who haven't seen it, or who want to know what's going on it it, so here's the scanlation. :D)



As you know if you remember reading it in my scanlation last month, there's no normal VK chapter this month, just a bonus chapter.
But there will be a normal chapter as usual next month. (And the LaLa cover + furoku goodie is VK too~ :D)

We're in luck lately, as on top of this bonus chapter, there will be another one on LaLa DX next month. (LaLa DX is another sister magazine of LaLa, just like LaLa Special.)

The other bonus episode will be centered on Zero. :D
It might be to make up for his fans for the fact that the main series seems to have been shifting its focus onto Kaname. (The first part of the manga was centered on Zero, then the following volumes focused on Yuuki, and now it seems it's finally Kaname's turn, or so the past chapters seem to indicate. :D So everyone has their turn.<3)

Chapter 49 (normal VK, not bonus chapters), will cover the flashback of back when Yuuki was in Junior High and cut her hair short, btw.
At least, if the preview pic is any indication. :D
I'm hoping it will be more than just that. (As usual, the preview line is a tease. XD *lol*)

Before we proceed to the bonus chapter, there was one or two important things I wanted to cover while I have you're all around/reading. ^^/

1) Please do not steal anyone's scans.
That doesn't means you can't share or give links (strangely, someone was accusing me of not wanting people to give links, which is nonsensical since I always encouraged people to share links freely).
LINKING TO A POST IS FINE.
Stealing a whole chapter to repost on your own site is not fine , please credit and ask permission first before reposting scans on your own site. If you ask, even that might be fine.
Reposting a link to the original post is fine, of course.
One would think the difference between those two things is blatant enough that no one could possibly mistake them. XD;

Only Matsuri Hino & Hakusensha publishing etc. "own" VK, but the people scanning and scanlating own their own time and money spent in the act of making this material available to others. Hence why the bare minimum of manners is to ask first before reusing the scans. (Links to the original post are fine, once again.)

Btw, making graphics/icons/etc off the scans is totally fine. ^^/ Have fun~!
(If you want to take fanarts, on the other hand, please ask permission first.)

In an ideal world, scanlations wouldn't exist, everybody would have access to any manga and understand all languages and whatnot, but this world is not ideal... so scanlations are a necessary evil one may say. ^^;
So, PLEASE support the series by buying the books.
Reading the scans is fine, as long as you're supporting the series as well by purchasing a local official release of VK, or the japanese books.


And the other thing I wanted to mention while everybody is here. ^^/
2) On the subject of fanarts (100% unrelated to the official stuff scans): PLEASE NEVER repost people's fanarts without permission.

With official art, scanning is somewhat less wrong because we pay money to get the magazine, we buy the books etc, so there's a certain return. It's commercial. It's not quite right, but it's between us and a big company, and we're paying to get the magazine and all that.

Fanarts and doujinshi on the other hand are NOT. It's just fans, no money.
Contrary to the popular belief in the west, doujinshi artists don't really make money off their stuff. They're lucky if they can cover printing expenses and all, especially for a series like VK, with so little doujin activity.
The only people making money in the doujin world are scalpers reselling stuff in auctions once it becomes hard to find -- in other words, that money never goes to the artist.

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you love a doujinshi, give links of places where people can buy it, explain how to buy it if it's in auctions or whatever, but PLEASE NEVER scan a doujinshi.

Doing so is the same thing as taking and reposting fanart off people's sites.

And don't flame me for spreading this info either. It's the simple truth.

Doujinshi scanning and fanart reposting are one of the things that most harms a fandom, because artists often close down their sites/cease activity or even drop out of the fandom when they're victims of such incidents.

So, considering how there's already almost no one making VK doujinshi to begin with, it's very important to not alienate the few people doing it. ^^;

I wanted to mention this because more people have been getting VK doujinshi lately, and people don't always know that some things (that may seem "ok" in the west due to the too small amount of communication with the japanese fandom and thus lack of info) can be harmful to the fandom as a whole, by making artists drop out of it.

So please, buy all the doujinshis you want, but do NOT scan or distribute doujinshi scans, please. ;__;/

Also, you might want to avoid falling for the scalpers selling doujinshi on Ebay. Anyone selling doujinshi for more than $40 or $50 is asking way too much.

The Zeki doujin "Secret garden" retails in Japan for $4. There's someone on Ebay trying to sell it for $100...
And I know the author of that doujin put it for sale as a downloadable file off a digital doujin website, so people can easily buy it in the West with credit card. ^^/

As for the other "Secret Garden", (a lovely Kaname x Zero and Ichiru x Zero doujinshi), it's harder to find but it pops up from time to time, so keep hope and keep searching. :D
And "Noble Vampire", a Kaname x Yuuki x Zero comical doujinshi, pops up very regularly in a variety of places, so you should be able to buy it for under $30 if you're lucky and find it at the right time and place. :D

I don't have any to sell, sorry. :X *hugs doujinshis to her chest lovingly* XD;;

But I cheer for all of you buying them, as they are lovely additions to anyone's collection. :D And nothing is as pleasant as actually owning something beautiful like that! :D Scans can't compare. :D

Well, this chapter made me love it a billion times more. 8D;; I moe'ed SO HARD as I read, and throughout the whole night as I scanlated it, that I thought my brain would pour out of my ears or something, from melting under the heat or something. XD XD

This post is to say that too, but more importantly, to ask you all something important:

I don't mean to point fingers at anyone, which is why I won't say any names, but it's something important too, so I wanted to mention it for the good of the fandom at large.

I know that (each month, but particularly last month) some people stole scans to do "early translations" into various languages or even just to repost stolen scans, but guys, this is really wrong.

I scanlate really early, but that's because I'm buying and scanning LaLa.
Stealing scans is wrong and disrespectful, and only makes the person scanning not want to scan again next time, so by doing it you're being counter-productive, when you could just have the patience to wait a day longer or so and not have to steal.

Why do you think the Chinese forums have become so wary? Why do you think they block access, forbid new accounts from being created, and become a little more secure each month?

Because of all the people stealing their stuff, that's why.

It doesn't matters that you credit "oh I found it on so-and-so forum" or "oh, my friend stole it and told me I could post" on the scans, it's theft of scans.
Either scan your own magazine, or get the permission of the person who scanned it, but just taking and reposting or reusing to scanlate, even if you credit the forum or whatever, it's still theft and it's still disrespectful.

It's the internet, but manners and common sense still apply.

I'm afraid it's too late for this entreaty since I saw someone already started reposting stolen scans this month too, but please don't do that. It's really not right. :-/


Please don't do that to this lovely fandom.

The more I see things like that, or, even worse, the people advocating piracy and saying not to buy or support the series etc, the more I question whether it's worth sharing scans and other things, when so many people are like that. :(
But because there's all the lovely people who deserve it and who support the series, I continue, of course. And that's why you'll have VK 48 scanlated, despite the fact that I almost stopped scanlating after jerks started stealing my scanlation to sell for profit some time ago.

So yeah. Keep in mind that acts have consequences, and that stealing something, whether scans, fanart, fanfics or anything, will hurt the person you're stealing from and/or the fandom at large, even if on the moment it might look like you did something "cool" by sharing. (You're supposed to share your things, not stolen things, otherwise it's meaningless... ^^;/)

 

 

Things have been crazy busy here lately, so "Cradle of Blood" (my current Zero x Kaname fanfic series) chapter 12 is still late, sorry. ^^;
*hasn't had much time to write lately, and could only quickly scan the cover for the limited edition VKG box the other day*

I might not be posting much in the upcoming few days due to running around with RL stuff, but hopefully the fic chapter will be done this week, and I'll also scan VK stuff from the game and all when I finally have enough time for it. :D

So don't be surprised if it looks like I died for a bit. XD I'm alive and fine, just running around doing a lot of stuff. XD ♥


By the way, since I'm making a quick post:

I see lots of people in various places asking how to pirate the VK game, please don't? ^^;;
I understand that not everybody has a lot of money, I myself am on a very tight budget, but you can always save up for the things you like, and that matter for you.
If everybody just pirates, then a series dies off by lack of sales. If you actually love something, the least is to show that love by supporting it, actually buying it instead of downloading it.

You can buy the game online for about $80 to $100 or so depending what shop of site you get it.
I have lists of shops that ship all over the world and are in English, in so many of my posts, just scroll around and you'll see them. It's really easy to buy something from Japan.
Don't fall for overpriced shops near your place, that's not a reason to not buy something, go to the source and you'll have better prices also. ^^/

Luckily, I'm also aware that only a minority pirates, and that there's even more people who are lovely and who support the series. I'm delighted to see so many wonderful people saying they bought the game, instead of trying to pirate it! :D
Believe me it's a much better experience to be able to enjoy it and know you're supporting the series you love, rather than having the feeling of killing your favorite series a bit. ^^;;

So to all the wonderful people supporting the series, you make me so proud of this wonderful fandom~! X3 ♥ ♥ ♥


Similar for the books. It's really important to buy the books, since otherwise the sales of a series go down.

I scanlate so that people can read right away as fast as if they read it in the magazine, but NOT to replace the books, never. I offer an alternative to people who can't buy the magazine, but it is of course with the condition that people will still support the series by buying the books, either the Japanese ones when they come out, or the local releases in each of the other languages VK is published it.

I don't support piracy, bootlegs or killing off a series. ^^;/ So please, if you love VK, show your love for it, buy the books, the merchandise, anything of it that you like.
Because really, companies are not charities (and even charities don't work for free in most cases). If less and less people buys, then things die off. D:

And none of us wants that for the series we love. ^^/

 

 


VKG DVD1 came out on the 28th~! :D
I received mine and scanned the artwork by Hino-sensei from the box that comes with the limited edition/first press one, as I'd promised. :D :D

It's the three sides of the box, which I put back together to form the full image. (Inside, there's also a flap with just Kaname and Yuuki without Zero, but since it was the same pic and had text on it, I'm only posting the fullsize without the text, and with Zero too.)

I don't have mine yet, but someone from a community I'm in in the japanese fandom just got theirs, so it should be a matter or time until everybody has it. *-*

So if anyone ordered theirs through deputy shoppers or other methods, you might want to know that it should arrive some time soon. :D :D

At first people worried because of only one arriving and not the other, but now that it seems it's the same all over (well, for the places where it's already arrived, that is :D), it's more reassuring since it just means that's normal and not post office issue or anything. XD

The only thing: Apparently, you can't rename Yuuki (player character) with just any name you want. XD;;; *had planned to rename her Zero to go after Kaname as Zero. XD;;; *lol*

The friend I mentioned tried to get Zero using the name Ichiru and it was not possible. XD;; (But not because it will refuse incest, simply because the amount of kanji you can use in your character name is limited. XD;;; *lol* You probably can have the name written in hiragana though.)

And because people might ask: As of now, there are no plans by any company to release it in other countries or languages.
Hopefully one will, though with love-sims it's usually rare, sorry. ^^;/ It seems game companies don't usually think that love sims sell well in the West, so rarely do Western companies buy the rights for those games. ^^;/)

Because usually I get pretty tired by the end of all the cleaning and all... It doesn't affects the translation quality since that's my top priority always and I do it long before I start the scanning/cleaning/etc., (so, early after buying my LaLa, while I'm still all refreshed and full of energy), but by the end of the night when I'm done scanning, cleaning and putting the text in the bubbles etc I'm usually pretty dead tired/back pain/wiped out and all that. XD;;;
So I'm thinking taking it easier might make it a more pleasant experience. (And you'll still have it the next day anyway. ;D)

Otherwise it's disrespectful to the person scanning, and it really annoys people. ^^; (Which is why sometimes forums block the registration to new members because they're tired of people stealing their scans when a new chapter comes out.)

I figured I'd explain that, since unfortunately I know well the feeling when people run off with my scans without even asking or anything. It's the same thing for other people scanning, no one likes to have their stuff pillaged by people not asking first.

So, please don't repost people's stuff unless you asked and credited the person and all. ^^;/)
(And if you see other people doing it, please don't just repost their links based on "someone else already stole it/someone else posted it first/my friend gave me this link", because it doesn't changes where the scans came from and doesn't makes it any better. ^^;;

You'll have the chapter soon enough, without having to use such tactics. :D

Into other exciting news, LaLa Special, a sister magazine of LaLa, will be featuring a bonus chapter on the Kuran family in their next issue! :D<3
(It will be out on March 10th in Japan.)

We don't know much on the contents yet, but it seems it will be centered on the past with Haruka and Juri, and maybe Kaname and Yuuki little! :D ♥

Of course, I'll be buying that magazine too, and scanning + scanlating the bonus chapter. :D

 

 

LaLa march issue, which has VK chapter 47 of the manga, is out early in some places of China, where they get early shipments.
In Japan, the actual official release date is the 24th, so the magazine tends to be out in most places close to that date, but Chinese shops put the magazine for sale early when they get the shipments from Japan, so China tends to have it out before Japan and other places. (Lucky them! XD)

So, I don't have the magazine yet but I should be able to have it tomorrow and scanlate, hopefully. :D If not, then maybe friday.

So you just have to wait a little bit longer and you can read it in English as always. ;D

Last month I was really lucky and could get LaLa super early, so I got to scanlate it and post it before even the Chinese forums had it, which was really super early! :D
But this month it's at a more normal date. Hopefully next month it will be early again. XD *lol*

So just stay tuned and I'll give you VK47 as soon as possible. ;)

(If you haven't followed my previous posts on the subject, it's a love simulation game where you play as Yuuki and try to win the heart of Kaname, Zero, or the remaining four main guys from the night Class, Takuma, Shiki, Cain and Aidou. :3)

It's a promotional poster for the release of VKG DVD 1 in limited edition, which comes with a box with that picture that Hino-sensei drew for it~! :D
(I'd already mentioned the box in previous post/in the notes for my scanlation of VK46, but the poster is so lovely that I had to make a new post about it. XD I love how the two are chained to Yuuki.<3)

I'm trying to get myself one of those pretty posters, and, of course, also already have a pre-order for the DVD to have the box as well. :3 (Which I'll be scanning when I can after I get it. :D)

The first DVD for VK Guilty comes out in a bit over 2 weeks~! :D *can't wait*


The limited edition of VKG 1 comes with a box to display all the DVDs, and it has the pic above.
The DVDs are available in limited edition or normal release. :D

If you want to show your support to the series and also collect your beloved series to be able to watch anytime in high quality, you can purchase the DVDs online. :D ♥ ♥ ♥



Here are various shops that will ship out of Japan:

■ HMV (A big japanese shop that sells DVDs, games etc. Great place and shipping isn't too expensive. Good prices too. :D)

■ Amazon Japan (Shipping will be expensive as they only use faster carrier, but you will have it fast too.)

■ YesAsia (Cheaper shipping, sometimes free shipping, but the DVDs are more expensive, and from what I heard, they don't always update their stock info, so if you're looking for limited editions, beware as sometimes they'll be listed as in stock even after they ran out, which can result in you waiting longer and not getting it.
Should be fine for the normal edition DVDs though, so this concerns more the people wanting limited ones.

■ CD Japan. Similar prices, also ships anywhere. :D


Of course, depending on where you live and all, you might want to check on each of them to see which has the best prices, how much shipping would cost etc. :D

People often ask me how to get LaLa magazine, so I thought this would be of interest. ^^/
As I was looking through various shops to see what places you could buy VK DVDs from to put together a list for fans all over the world, I noticed that CD Japan offers LaLa subscriptions.
So if you're interested in getting the magazine, you can get it sent to you from Japan. :D
The only problem is that it's a heavy magazine, so if you want very fast shipping, it will be expensive. :X
But if you don't mind slow shipping, it should be better.

Otherwise, there's also Sasuga books and other places mentioned in my old post about how to buy LaLa for people out of Japan and/or away from areas with a Japanese community.

Edit: ashlichan pointed out that a US branch of the japanese bookstore Sanseido also offers subscriptions! :D (Although I'm not sure if they ship to other countries or just within the US, so you might want to ask the shop first depending where you live.)

 

 
If you've followed my various posts about the upcoming VK game for Nintendo DS, you know that the game will be coming out in a bit over 2 weeks! (in Japan). :D

There's an official site, which I'd linked to before too, although for the longest time there wasn't much to see in it. Well, recently they started adding lovely things to it~! (They still are adding more stuff, but you can already see some great pics that hadn't been shown before, and watch a little promotional video showing stuff from the game. :D Click on the various links on the menu on top. :D)
