Ah, I wanted to have posted this yesterday. XD; It would have been a nice Christmas gift of sorts. XD;;

Sorry, beloved fandom, but the lack of time lately made that tons of things I wanted to do for Christmas (fanarts, mini-games etc. other thingies) ended up not possible, for now at least. ^^; *wants to finish all those little things when there's time* X3


On the good side however, here's chapter 57 all scanlated and ready to read~! :D



As usual, I must warn everybody that I love the main trio together in a threesome, and that I love Zero x Kaname (yaoi pairing) even more, so please don't bash any of the characters or pairings, and please don't throw rocks if you see me fangirling a character or pairing you dislike. *ships the trio in various ways, pairings etc, both yaoi and not*

So whether you support ZxY or KxY, please keep in mind this is a peaceful page where love for both the pairings (and for Zero x Kaname) is the main thing. ^^/



 

I'm currently dead tired and lacking a moment to write down commentary/fangirling/my usual ramblings, but I might come back to add more to it later maybe, although I'm not sure if or when I'd have the time. ^^;/

There are many fangirlable things in this chapter, but with things to do + the holidays season & family activities, the fandom time left is tiny, and the lack of sleep is also more epic than usual. 8D;;;;
Incidentally, energy drinks ftw~~~ *dies* XD;;; *lol*

Maybe I'll do a tiny commentary + hopefully add more fangirling when I have more time/am more alive. XD;


Keep in mind that I translate while I have time (hence why it took a few days this month since it was so busy here) and when I'm in good "condition" and not dying of tiredness like right now. XD *lol*
So the commentary is incoherent and written when tired, but the scanlation is not, and is always done to try and convey the full meaning etc. of the original text. :)


And as usual, there are notes on the sides with explanations of little things and reminders from things that happened in past chapters and that you might not remember if you don't re-read VK frequently or something, etc.
I am told those are helpful to people especially since the monthly releases makes it hard to remember everything that happened in past chapters, so, I'll continue putting them, but if you hate the notes, please just ignore them. ^^;

(But sooner or later it will most likely hit Ebay, so don't lose hope if you want them! And, uhm, don't let any scalpers rape your wallet. ^^;)

That's Zero, in the lower left frame. Both of them have asked that sort of thing of Yuuki, despite how different they are. XD; *lol*



































Something making me think that maybe it's taboo is how Aidou seems so "O0O OMG" about the creatures, at first. Or maybe it's just that purebloods use those and so to aristocrat vampires it's something impressive to see.

Yuuki seems to find it just cute, hahaha~ XD At least the dog wolf version, that is.

If she's apologizing because he might feel the punch as well...then he might enjoy it, being masochistic to her and all, hahah~ XD<3


In any case, it's so cute how even though he'd prefer if she waited longer or went out protected, once she pushes a bit and it becomes clear that she really wants to do this, Kaname immediatly gives in and lets her do what she wants. XD *lol*

Sometimes, Yuuki says things that 1) surprise a bit coming from her, and 2) show that she's not at all helpless or whatever like she might sometimes seem. XD;;;

Btw, yet another canon detail showing that Kaname wasn't actually trying to restrain Yuuki's exists at all: If he was, he wouldn't have bought her a train pass, much less one that works on long distance trains...
In 56, he'd already mentioned that he knew she'd be going out more and more and that he didn't intend to go against that, and this is further proof that it was true.

People who try to vilify and bash either Kaname or Zero tend to forget huge chunks of the story when they accuse either of them of things that never happened, so it's always good to see proofs in the story that it's not the case. ^^;;

Unrelatedly, Yuuki is SO CUTE thoughout this whole chapter!! XD *melts*

I think that Kaname's sweet smile earlier in the chapter and the look Zero has on his face later on are the most fangirlable points of the chapter (personally, at least), though this page is so epic that it's high up there too. *prefers the softer images, but fangirls immensely Zero looking sexy fighting* (Even though we don't see the fighting itself in this page, we still see him being cool, and the fact that he's restraining the enemy vampire with his vines. 8D)

Btw, that guy seemed oddly eager to die. Either he was also tired to live (it seems so many are D:), or he needed to die because if he didn't whoever he's working with will massacre him for his failure maybe? After all, it seems too simple that he's working alone, and we already knew there were other vampires kidnapping little kids in a past chapter, and they wouldn't say who they were serving. It could be Sara, or another enemy, but in any case, Zero's questions show that he already suspects stuff/knows things are not as simple as this guy working alone.

Of course, maybe he was really working alone and Hino-sensei is just blurring the tracks as we search for clues, hahaha~ XD
Right now, it's all just theory, whether ot not this guy and the other ones from before have something with Sara or one of the other pureblood clans recently mentioned.




















































I'm torn between enjoying the sexy Kaito x Zero vibes in this chapter (even though I far prefer Zero seme/topping XD<3), or being bugged by the fact that it seems Hino-sensei is using Kaito as a replacement for the fanservicey scenes she can't do with Zero & Kaname currently, due to the whole situation. ;-;

*SO HOPES we'll have more ZxK/KxZ-undicing fanservice, and not just Kaito x Zero. ^^;;

*makes not much sense with the commentary ramblings while tired* XD; *lol*





























*dies* (It's sad and angsty so much, but Zero's face right there is amazingly beautiful as well... *urge to write angsty fanfic* XD;;)

This is the scene I mentioned, that I feel is the sexiest for Zero in this chapter. X3♥

And even though he looks sad, he isn't glaring, and seemed a bit softer towards Yuuki sometimes throughout this chapter!<3 (Even though there's all the stuff Kaito mentioned. *clings to Zero and wishes he'd change his mind about purebloods, get with Kaname & Yuuki and be happy. XD;; Ah, if only it was so simple. ^^; We wouldn't suffer another several volumes of angst fearing for the lives of either of the guys. XD;; *lol*)










I so hope that one day he'll change his mind. T-T

On a positive note, I'm hoping I'm not the only one who feels that he said that to avoid answering Kaito's direct question...? Maybe deep inside, he doubts the 'idealogy' that all purebloods are evil. (If someone can ever manage to break that image Zero has, it would be Yuuki, most likely... once he accepts the fact she's still the same Yuuki. :D)

Btw, I wonder if the stuff about the purebloods doing something is related to Sara stirring up anything, or if it's something of even larger scale, since it seems Hino-sensei is into introducing pureblood characters lately.

Technically, this chapter should be more Aidou x Yuuki inducing, but how could anyone miss such a glorious line?? XD XD *rotfl*

The mirror effects Hino-sensei has been putting in the story lately and really interesting!
Like this one, the fact that both Zero and Kaname gave Yuuki weapons able to kill them, and so many other mirrors here and there. X3 *too tired to coherently list others* 8D














Isaya Shoutou is hot and all, but his design is somewhat similar to Ouri and a bit similar also to that of some of the Night Class background characters that would only appear once. XD;;
The Japanese fandom is already conjecturing whether he'll live short or not, based on his design. XD;; *lol*














Epic Yuuki is epic. XD
And also so lucky that he didn't attack her right there. ^^;













Isaya seems to be a rather calm person, whether it's just appearances or not. ^^

Incidentally, it's dramatic yet funny to see that what Yuuki is saying is so far away from the usual way vampire society works, that Aidou's initial reaction was to think Yuuki had to be lying. XD;








Poor Yuuki... ;-;
She has really good intentions and a sweet heart trying to help everybody... but I just hope she won't get hurt. ^^; (Well, not badly, in any case. ^^;)

That and the fact that however much determined she may be, I don't know if she'd be able to go through with it. ^^; Taking a life is a heavy burden and Yuuki has always been very protected and sheltered by everybody. There's a chance she doesn't realizes how heavy it would be if she does goes through with it. ^^;;

Or maybe she realizes but it's so important for her that she's willing to take that pain herself. ^^;

This chapter really has Yuuki very loveable in various moments, I feel. :D *finds her so cute in it, both with the chibi faces earlier and walso ith her determination to protect others, even though currently it seems the way she's going at it could go terribly bad in so many ways, depending on whom she offers those services to and how they react to it. ^^;;

Actually, poor Kaname & Zero too, since if anything happens to her those two would implode. ^^;;
