Wow, this week's episode was a colossal roller coaster of emotions. O_o
I was so shaken by the whole episode that I completely forgot to screencap. ^^;;;;
I'll take some screencaps now, although I'm afraid I can't take of the scene with Ichiru and Zero or I'll start crying again. XD;;;;
So only two of that scene. ^^;

I got to watch it earlier when it played on TV but I was a bit busy still and couldn't write the summary right away.
I'm back now, and, inevitably, couldn't resist watching it again just before writing the summary. X3
So here goes the summary. :D
I knew what would happen in the episode for the most part, because I read it on Newtype and Animedia's TV guides. (If you look at the previous posts in my LJ, I posted a complete translation of the official blurbs for the last three episodes of VK Guilty.)
But even knowing, it was such a roller coaster of emotions, and, of course since the info in the magazines is a shorter blurb, there were things in the episode that I wasn't expecting.
Some changes are interesting (Rido as the pimpmaster, anyone? XD *is shot*), some are definitely bad (Shiki offering pocky to Rima instead of hugging her in bed, NOOOO!! *Shima fan, shocked that the hug was cut, finds that Rima being awake instead totally doesn't makes up for it* *fangirled Rima asking where Ichijou went though* <-- *fangirls them as a threesome* XD;; *is shot again*)
But the one change that is colossal... is the extra scene with Kaname and Yuuki.
It also answers one of the huge questions I had about the info in the magazines:
If you read my post about the official blurbs for VKG 11, 12 and 13, you saw that they mention that Yuuki feels "strongly moved by Kaname's words". Well, until now, I was really wondering which words, if it was something he'd said before, or if it would be something new...
The episode starts with Yuuki looking at the little gun that Zero gave her a long time ago, and remembering that he'd asked her, if he ever loses his mind, for her to go and kill him.
Then it changes to the woods at the school, where we see Ichiru walking by with difficulty, already wounded by Rido, and going to see Zero, to complete what he'd intended to, die becoming one with Zero after having attempted to avenge Shizuka. ;-;
This is an added scene, as you already know if you watched the manga, and despite the urge to bawl my eyes out at how sad it is, I of course fangirled it like whoa.
Especially because, on top of the Ichiru (& Zero) moe from the scene, we also see Kaname leaning against a tree. He sees Ichiru pass, looking at him with an enigmatic expression.
Meanwhile, Zero is in the underground dungeon, fighting the rising power within himself, caused by Yuuki's blood awaken, Kaname's blood etc, while remembering what Kaname told him, about how Rido is hunting Yuuki, and will never cease as long as he lives.
Shiki wakes up, and goes to see Rima. It's somewhat similar to the scene in the manga, other than she wakes up, and he offers her pocky.
*still annoyed that they changed the scene. -_-;
Maybe they will re-add Shiki's hug + apology later, but considering how we're going closer and closer to the end of the series, most likely they won't... they'll probably have to focus more on the fight with Rido etc.
Outside, the Night Class is fighting tons of Rido's ex-human slaves. ^^/
Cain x Luca fans will like that he helped her at one point. X3
Aidou joins them, and has trouble explaining why he's no longer guarding Yuuki. ^^;
When he says she disappeared, the others say Kaname will kill him. XD
Aidou claims that it's probably safe for now, and when they ask why, he explains (and there you see he's indeed smarter even than the rest of the Night Class students XD) that Rido is a pureblood... which means that if he wanted to come out already, he'd already have torn through them without them having any chance. So the fact that they're only fighting ex-humans means that he's either underestimating their forces heavily, or simply... waiting for something to happen before he comes out... (Technically, it's Cain who finished the sentence, but Aidou had made it obvious, so, yeah. I'd like to think the others would have understood without Aidou telling them, though. :D)
And in case the viewers are very dense, the anime had to make it obvious so we'd not possibly miss understanding, so they had Rido later say a few times that he was waiting for Zero because he wanted to have fun. XD;;;;;;
(Although he did say that if Zero didn't hurry up, he'd stop waiting for the fun and just move to his objective and take Yuuki. ^^;;)
And... Rido has a harem. *rotfl*
He's drinking the blood of a bunch of vampire women (presumably they're ex-humans he turned, like the rest of his little army), to the point of them dying of it in some cases, like we saw in the manga.... except that unlike in the manga, they're all in skimpy clothing! *LOL*
And he also has guys around, and everybody is drinking of each other in a great vampiric orgy-like moment. XD *stared at the screen in awe*
Rido wins bonus pimp points +1000.
For the record, he only seemed interested in the girls (he had a bunch around himself), but he did bring guys in too in the first place, so one can wonder... *rotfl* XD *is shot for perverted idea* XD XD
Onto more serious matters than Rido!orgy, we've seen the Day class, and the chairman preparing for battle... and the Association President pops up to talk to the chairman! (Apparently, Yagari let him pass. O_o Since Yagari said lots of people were coming in today... presumably he meant him. ^^;;)
In the mnagazine summaries, they had said the president offers Cross a deal. I knew it would be about Zero most likely, since they were after him, but I was wondering if it would be something more elaborate than the basic "gimme"... it turns out that nope, he just went "Hand over Zero Kiryuu or else".
Which obviously the chairman refused, and so they started fighting.
Over the top of the building, Kaname is talking to Zero (well, he's talking to himself, as Zero isn't there XD).
He says "The time has come... Fulfill your role. That's why I have let you live. For Yuuki."
It's interesting to note, btw, that a moment before we heard Rido adressing them (also talking to himself, it's a pureblood thing or somehting *lol* --or more likely, they're using them as narration for people to see what's going on XD), and it's a world of difference between how Kaname and Rido see things.
Kaname looks all dramatic and says Zero has to do it for Yuuki, while Rido looks all depraved and says Zero and Ichiru have to get things done fast to entertain him...
Bored Rido must be dangerous, but still, as an Ichiru fan I got angry at his "come on, get it over with and come entertain me" type of thing.
Kaname saying he let Zero live is one thing: because of how things are, their culture, him being a pureblood, him loving Yuuki and all, he would normally have killed Zero when Zero first attacked Yuuki. However, as she told him not to do it, and he also needed someone next to her to protect her, Kaname didn't. This is what he's talking about when he says "I've let you live". It's because normally, an ex-human attacking the love interest of a pureblood would never ever survive. In fact, kaname has said, in another scene, that for all this time, he's forgiven Zero doing unforgivable things, because everything was for the sake of protecting Yuuki.
I just wanted to point it out because I see a lot of kaname haters lately, and I think that often enough they're hating him for more than what he's ever done. ^^; He's not someone like Rido, who's motivated by selfish purposes.
Sure, Kaname has done some questionable things, but ultimately he's always done everything for Yuuki's sake, out of love for her.
And if you are a Zero fan, you know that Zero would also do anything to protect Yuuki. Which leads me to fangirl the scene in chapter 30 when they realize they have the exact same feelings, and both only want her happiness. <333
So, back to VKG11, this brings us to the MAJOR change I mentioned earlier in this aummary. An added scene where Kaname and Yuuki talk, and that's so powerful that it left me all upside down.
*the ensuing fanfiction writing urges are at a scary level too* XD;;;
Ichiru shot Zero like in the manga (I moe'd Ichiru's little noise when he was about to pull the trigger
(Btw, WOW purebloods have amazing sense of smell. That's not exactly close by, and he's underground and all... (But then, in the last season already, the Night Class had smells Kaname's blood when Zero drank from him in that same room.))
Yuuki is about to leave the room, when Kaname comes in through the window.
Annnd, I'm too obsessed by that scene, so instead of a mere summary, this time I'll give you a full translation of it. :O (That way you don't have to wait until subs are out to know what's being said.)
Yuuki is surprised, and then Kaname says "You want to go see Kiryuu-kun, don't you?"
Yuuki: "Kaname-senpai..."
Kaname: "Kiryuu-kun is currently in the process of being reborn. He's doing it to protect you, Yuuki." [He's referring to the transformation of the blood making Zero more powerful. Not necessarily to the issue with Ichiru, which hasn't happened yet, although one could wonder if Kaname had guessed what were Ichiru's plans when he saw him pass, so he'd perhaps know that too.]
Yuuki: "What do you mean...?"
And then, I guess this is 'the time of the truth to come out', as you can see the expression on Kaname's face just before he starts to explain everything to Yuuki. :O
The anime then skips the explanation of the stuff we already know (I almost thought they wouldn't XD), and jump to the moment where Kaname is done explaining the basics of it all to Yuuki. A while must have passed, because she is now sitting down on the bed, the gun in her hand resting on her lap. (I think she'd be standing if little time had passed.)
Kaname is still standing in front of her. (Perhaps because he might be too tense to sit down? His hands are clenched tight by his sides and all. ^^;)
Yuuki, (having just heard Kaname's explanations, and digesting all the info): "Rido Kuran...?"
And then, there's THE revelation. Kaname's confession to Yuuki of how far he went to protect her.
Kaname: "Yes... To protect you from him, I have used Kiryuu-kun. And..... I have [killed] Shizuka Hiou..."
[This is a full out confession. The way he worded it, it's really "I made use[manipulated] Kiryuu-kun." and the tone of his voice made me cling to my seat. He's not holding anything back. ;-;/ *clings to him and hopes he'll be okay.]
And then, the part that left me like a punch in the gut:
Kaname: "I'm sorry... Yuuki. I only meant to protect you... but in the end, I was the one who was hurting you most."
And he kneels at her feet as he apologizes to her!!
The camera shows the gun in her hand, then goes back to showing Kaname kneeling at Yuuki's feet, as he whispers an apology again. "Forgive me..."
Yuuki makes a little noise and we can't see her face.
I know that the anime just focused on the gun in her hand for the drama, but I dare hope she wouldn't freaking shoot him... D: D:
Although, considering how extreme Kaname himself can be, I can't help but wonder if perhaps the idea has crossed his mind. After all, he's fully opening up to her, confessing the things she didn't know, and submitting himself at her feet... knowing how he is, it wouldn't surprise me if the thought of letting her shoot him had crossed his mind. ;-;
If Yuuki shoots him, I'll have a fit. I don't think she would.
But regardless of whether she would or not, the scene is SO AMAZING and so powerful. When he kneeled, I started crying from how touching and emotional it all was.
And his voice during the confession and while he apologizes... turning more and more to a whisper.
GUH. *dies*
I took screencaps of the scene, since it's a very powerful scene but doesn't has the same effects than Ichiru's death scene does. XD;; (I cry with this one because I'm moved, while in Ichiru's death scene it's moving too, but it's also too sorrowful to easily screencap. *heart melts into chest* ^^;;)
It's actually maybe a good thing that I was too busy to write the summary earlier, because I was too moved by that scene to write anything coherent back then. XD;;;
And then spent several more hours crying about Ichiru, and crying about Kaname's beautiful confession, and just being a quivering pile of goo in general.
Actually, uhm, I believe I just spoiled my husband. XD;;;
I'm trying to get him into VK, so I haven't told him much of the recent events so that he would still have a motivation to read, since he usually loses interested if he knows it all beforehand.
He was out and phoned me while I was bawling about the episode, and I explained that "really emotional stuff happens in VKG11, a character I love died"... without saying who to not spoil him, of course.
Okay, we move onto talking about food, and I say I'm hungry but haven't eaten anything in hours because of bawling about VKG11 (what, I'm extreme? XD;;; I know. XD;;;; *lol*)
At which point my husband tells me "Why don't you eat that Ichiru soup you made yesterday?"
... which made that I immediatly went "Ichiru!! *bawls on the phone*", and then there was an awkward silence. XD;;;;;;;; *LOL*
Uhm, I'm afraid there's no doubt he knows who died in the episode. XD;;;;;;
(And yes, we call that soup "Ichiru soup" because of him making/helping make it for Zero in the anime. XD;;;; *makes it regularly*
Back to the summary! XD;;; (*couldn't resist sharing the incident with you, is sure fellow Ichiru fans will understand instead of thinking me idiotic* XD;; *lol*)
The rest of the Ichiru & Zero part of the episode goes very much how things went in the manga for the most part, so refer to that part of it if you want more detailed stuff, but in any case, it was terribly emotional and had me bawling endlessly.
There was some added stuff, mostly that Ichiru tried to pull Shizuka's bell from his pocket, and it fell from his hand as his forces abandonned him.
They weren't clear whether Zero ate his flesh or just drank his blood, despite the fact that they had been more clear about Ichiru eating Shizuka's flesh in season 1.
Originally, I had long assumed they'd have cut it, because it's anime, and they tend to be reluctant to put cannibalism, especially in shojo, due to the viewers possible reactions of horror, but I was pleasantly surprised in season 1 when they kept it.
In the manga, we don't see it happen in detail in either version, but it's implied, especially between Ichiru and Shizuka, although considering all the references to the first scene and all the "eat it" stuff, yeah... but in the anime they didn't want to make it creepier maybe? Or perhaps there was indeed shock among the viewers after the scene in season 1, and that's why they didn't dare to do it again.
Whatever the reason, with Ichiru & Shizuka they had made it even more obvious in the anime than in the manga that cannibalism had happened, while with Zero & Ichiru I got the feeling that the way the scene flowed made it more obvious in the manga than in the anime.
Then again, it's hard to judge while loudly crying about Ichiru's death. ^^;; So maybe it was not so different but it was hard to see while crying for Ichiru so much. XD;;;
Oh, and before leaving, Zero went and picked up Shizuka's bell and put it in Ichiru's hand (we don't see it happening, but Ichiru is dead and has it in his hand, so it must be Zero.
Even though he hates Shizuka, I found it lovely that he respected his twin's feelings and did that. *cried more*
Btw, as you could also see in the manga, Zero's power level was already rising before, due to all the pure vampire blood he'd drank from Yuuki and Kaname, so he'd probably already power up either way. Ichiru's plan to become one with Zero once again ended up maybe giving him yet more power (hunter based this time), which might be what ended up making him more able to go and bring under control the power that was moving in him.
Or it could be that it was never out of control, and that the reason while Zero was struggling so much prior to Ichiru coming was simply that Zero himself was fighting that power. (like he fought his vampire instincts and his need for blood during four long years, despite having turned the night Shizuka bit him --we know due to his healing being so fast back then already, and due to various other mentions throughout the series etc).
Once Ichiru convinced him to go for it, and take back the power he had, in order to fulfill his objective, he had no more reason to refuse the power within him, so maybe that's what made the issue stop...
It's a bit sad that the anime makes some things to painfully obvious (For example, I'm sure I'm not the only one who disliked them adding the scene in a previous episode, with Ichiru kicking Rido's coffin and other things that made what was originally suspensful turn rather obvious? XD;), and yet, for other things that we would love to know, they leave it with a question in the air... XD;;
Btw, I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds it fascinating that Ichiru and Kaname have the same objectives (making Zero super powerful), and go at it very similarly, making Zero do stuff etc. XD;;
Yet, Ichiru doesn't gets hated for it... Is it because Kaname is doing it for Yuuki's sake, and Ichiru is doing it for Zero to achieve what he wants to do?
(Which btw, to this point we don't know exactly what is Zero's objective... We'd long assumed it would be protecting Yuuki, so the same objective Kaname has, but at the current point in the manga, Zero claims it is such a much more bloody objective... although I sure hope he won't go on with it. ^^;;
In the anime on the other hand, considering all of Zero's thoughts of Yuuki when Ichiru was talking, I'm pretty sure his objective is indeed to protect her...)
Oh, and btw, the scene with Ichiru & Zero in bed when they were younger... *EXTREME MOE*
Is that me, or was it more... gay than in the manga, by far? XD;;;; *is shot* *lol*
Is it just because with voices on it feels different? XD;; Or is it because they look and sound older in the anime, and thus the mind wanders? XD;;
This episode made me ship Ichiru x Zero like NEVER SO MUCH BEFORE. XD XD
*was watching it thinking "man, they're meant to be... *immense twincest moe awakens*"*
If you've been around me for a few years, you know the reason why I awoke to fandom activities after several years of slumber was because of twincest moe... so, naturally... XD;;;; *fangirls wildly*
*can't help but ramble about favorite characters* XD
Am I the only one who found it weird when the twins' mom told them good night?
It was like:
"Good night, Ichiru. :-/
Good night Zero~~~!!<333333"
Well, not quite that bad, it doesn't translates well into smilie language. XD XD But I felt there was a bit more warmth in her voice when she talked to Zero...?
Maybe it's just an impression. XD;; *lol*
Considering how full of guilt Zero already is, if it truly is the case, it must cause him to angst even more... (Well, Ichiru did say that he could see in his parents eyes, that as hunters, sometimes they felt kinda embarrassed to look at him. Poor kid. Poor kids. D:)
No wonder Zero was all angsting about it. ^^;
And onto the end of the episode, just before we see Zero on the dungeon stairway with the beastly shadow against the wall like in the manga, we also see Yuuki outside, running with a worried look. (presumably to go check if Zero is okay?)
As she runs, she is thinking of what Kaname told her, (a part we hadn't seen in the previous scene), that he "had to leave to go do something, the thing which he is meant to do"... (previously, we also saw Ichijou leaving, and Shiki said it's what he was going to do also).
The different thing from the manga is that Kaname also told her that Yuuki also had something she was meant to do.
We know it isn't to fight Rido, as he was trying to avoid her doing so. He left the school trusting that Zero would protect Yuuki, and because he has to do that something which was not yet specified. So I'm wondering what it is that fate has in stock for Yuuki.
Well, we know from the blurbs in the magazines that she ends up deciding to do something with the Night Class, and that it's not a smart idea, (*will not say what to not spoil, if you want to know, you can look in my previous posts and read the translation I posted* ;D), but I wonder if there was something more she was supposed to accomplish.
I wish that fate with stop screwing up completely the lives of the purebloods and Zero. D: It's been WAY cruel enough to them all, especially Kaname and Zero.
The episode ends with the Night Class watching Kaname leaving, to go do whatever it is he has to do. ^^;;/
As he is walking, he thinks "Yes. That's it, Zero Kiryuu... you must fulfill your role."
They really are all slaves of fate, the poor things. ^^;
(And no, it's not Kaname playing with fate, as he is leaving to go do something himself that he can't run away from either...
Each in their own way, they're all like puppets on strings, all three of them, Kaname, Zero and Yuuki...)
As usual, I'll be uploading to a direct download a raw of the episode like I do each week, so that people who can't torrent can download it right away! :D
So stay tuned, as this would be in edits of the summary post, and not as a new post~ ^_^/
EDIT: Uploaded a raw! :D Direct download this way.

-----------
Also, while wandering through Youtube before, I was shocked to find an unrelated video from http://vampireknightheaven.com , which is now advertising itself more and more.
Since I just saw their video, I must take the occasion to point out that you must know that their site is made of content lifted off other people's sites, (including stuff they took from my blog, without having ever asked permission, neither from me nor from various other people who have told me about them also), such as translations, graphics, fanarts, icons, all sorts of things.
On top of stealing contents and leeching other people's hard effort while advertising themselves "#1 source for VK on the net" (which is not true, especially since it's not by their own effort...) they also have google ad banners all over their site which means that they're making money with the content they stole from us all.
I advise you to take a look at their gallery to see if you find anything stolen from you. I saw that on top of taking my translations without permission (if people ask for the scans, I give permission, but I hate to see people stealing, when it costs nothing to ask!) and some of my other scans as well, they also lifted considerable amount of icons and stuff from tons of places on LJ, so some of the icon-makers and graphics makers here might want to take a look to see if your stuff was stolen too. ;_;/
I sincerely hope they intend to change their methods and start giving credit and asking permission in the future, because it's really shocking. :((
A lot of people had pointed their theft out to me through PMs etc lately, and I've been meaning to make a post about the issue, but hadn't had enough time yet. ^^;
If it was just my stuff it would be annoying enough, but since they were taking stuff from other people as well, it tends to make me react more. When it's someone taking my stuff, I contact them to try and solve it, but when it's people stealing also from my friends and/or people I know, then it bugs me a lot more, and it also makes me feel like warning other people so that they can watch out in case their stuff gets stolen too. ^^;;

I'd written "waiting for VKG12" in my "current mood" thingie, and so when I typed the title, I accidentally typed 12 too.

And I never ever thought that Kaname was evil. I like him just fine, I just like Zero more, but Kaname really needs hugs after this episode. Zero too, that scream that he did when Ichiru died was like.....Ohh heart ache.
December 16 2008, 00:15:24 UTC 3 years ago
I kinda related him kneeling to a servent coming before his queen. Which, in Kaname's mind, is completely true.
YES~! X3 It's a perfect metaphor, it's totally how it works for him... *adored the scene*
In fact, the metaphor suddenly makes me think of a parallel with the cover for volume 9, with Yuuki in the position of power and Kaname and Zero on the ground at her feet. Except that in that scene they were relaxed, as it was more 'posing for the cover' type of scene, while in the Kaname-confession-scene in VKG11, it was such a punch-to-the-gut powerful scene, both beautiful and scary.
But ultimately, in all cases Yuuki is the figure of power there, and Zero & Kaname totally belong to her. :D
Threesome nao plz. *is shot* XDDDIf she wanted it... maybe they would... *is shot again* XDD
:D<3 *is always so so happy at all the Zero x Yuuki fans who don't hate Kaname* <3333
The people who hate Kaname are a minority, but they're a vocal one. ^^;;
I find it's more enjoyable the way we do, having our favorite ship but still loving the other characters and the story. X33 *ships Kaname x Yuuki but also loves Zero, ended up shipping them as a threesome also because she found it too sad if one is left out* XD
YES!! Oh gosh, yes... I was so impressed by Mamo's performance as Zero during this episode!! That scream, and when he was yelling that this wasn't right, while Zero holds Ichiru in his arms... wow.
Well, I'm also impressed by his performance as Ichiru, especially since it must be SO HARD to play such a powerful dialogue dubbing both sides of it, but Zero was particularly amazing.

Oh well, at least they made Zero's objective being protecting Yuuki and totally clear, which would have been weird otherwise, seeing how close to the end VKG is. XD

kiss
*cries* I wanted to see the kiss, and now I'll never get to see it !! I'm so deperessed. Which do you think is more deserving of the screen time~ the kiss (that never happened) or confession??December 16 2008, 00:03:16 UTC 3 years ago
Re: kiss
I think that the kiss was utterly gorgeous in the manga, and they'd never have made it enough justice in the anime... so in the end, I'm happy that instead of them animating the kiss poorly, they added this scene. It was both beautiful and scary, but it was so utterly fangirlable. ;-;I'm just sad that during part of the apology his lips were drawn fat, but uhm, can't win 100% with the anime. XD;;
The kneeling was utterly beautiful... ;-; *clings endlessly*

And you've really been having a lot of thieves lately heh? First with that girl and now this website. (I'm sure there are many that's stolen your stuff that you don't know about >_>...きもい。。。)
Haha I like how you write out the script! >-D

OMG~ this episode was so sad!!
poor Ichiru *cries* that was so sad, I was getting all teary while watching it, because while being with Zero he was holding (or trying to get) Shizuka's bell. What really got me stirred up was Zero crying!! my tears just moved on their own right there. ;-;
and...I agree that the anime's scene with Zero/Ichiru was a little more 'gay' than in the manga. In the manga it was full of angst, while in the anime (for me) was like "Twincest..." and I was full of perverted thoughts XD
wow, you really are dealing with a lot of thieves! I mean that one girl and now this. *Tsk Tsk*
December 16 2008, 00:59:05 UTC 3 years ago
Totally! D: *cried forever*
I was utterly touched that Zero would pick up Shizuka's bell and put it in Ichiru's hand~! (I doubt Ichiru picked it up, especially with the other hand, seeing his he'd run out of strength to hold it with the closer hand already.) So beautiful. ;-;
Yes!! XD I also think they looked older in the anime, and inevitably, the mind wanders about teenage Ichiru & Zero experimenting... *is shot*
You have such a sexy icon. XD *was angry at Rido but can't resist his pimp!charm* XD *is shot again*
wow, you really are dealing with a lot of thieves! I mean that one girl and now this. *Tsk Tsk*
It's super annoying, yeah. ^^;;
I had tons of thieves before too, but the recent ones have been more scandalous so I had to point them out. XD XD;;; *lol*

When it's someone stealing just from me, I contact them to try and solve it, but when it's people stealing also from my friends and/or people I know, then it bugs me a lot more, and it also makes me feel like warning other people so that they can watch out in case their stuff gets stolen too. ^^;;

Although I think they probably gave us today's extra scene in exchange for the kiss. ^^; I could see the kiss having been during this episode, but the closer to the fighting etc and the less likely it is they'll have time for that scene. :X
Unfortunately. ;-;

I wonder that... I hope there will be a flashback of that scene in the next episode, showing bits we haven't seen yet. Because since they cut shortly after the confession, we don't know for yet what Yuuki did or said. ^^;
(For a moment there, I'd had the irrational fear that she'd shoot him in a moment of crazy something. XD;;; (Especially when she scene switched to Ichiru holding the gun at Zero after shooting him XD:;;) It would be horribly OOC, but because the anime focused on the gun on her lap, I was freaking out and trying to see if there was blood on him in the scene later, just how Ichiru was going around wounded before, but it's uber unlikely. :X)
I'm wondering if they didn't put the kiss scene before because maybe they wanted to have it happen after his confession, and then shown in a flashback in episode 12.
It's one of my theories, but like I said, it's just a theory. ;D
We don't know what she's thinking, but I think she'd forgive him. After all, even thought those weren't wonderful things, he still did it to protect her. And Zero too wanted to kill Shizuka, who was threatening their lives, and Zero too would have done anything to protect Yuuki, so both Yuuki and the viewers can hardly hate Kaname for something done out of so much love, and which maybe either of them would have done if put in such a position of having no other choice to protect her... I'm thinking she'll forgive him, either already did or will eventually.
I posted the official summaries/blurbs of 11, 12 and 13, translated from the magazines, in a post in my journal recently. ^^/ I don't know if other people have done the same and translated the blurbs as well, but I did see a lot of people going around posting wrong or made up info, based usually on seeing the pic in the same magazine and overreacting by claiming the official summaries had something about a romantic ending with Zero & Yuuki, which is totally not written in the magazines at all.
At this point, we don't know yet what will happen in the ending, but the magazines haven't mentioned anything about anything romantic, so the only way to know for sure whether there will be anything like that for either of the pairings is to actually watch and see what will happen. :D *looks forward to seeing 12 & 13*
Gah, I can't believe there's only 2 episodes left. :O

I hope that if enough people know, it will make them change their habits and start asking and crediting. ^^;
People had pointed their theft out to me through PMs etc also, and I've been meaning to make a post about the issue, but only now got around to. ^^;
If it was just my stuff it would be annoying enough, but since they were taking stuff from other people as well, it tends to make me react more. When it's someone just taking my stuff, I contact them to try and solve it, but when it's people stealing also from my friends and/or people I know, then it bugs me a lot more, and it also makes me feel like warning other people so that they can watch out in case their stuff gets stolen too. ^^;;

The Kaname/Yuuki part was gorgeous! <33333 Best scene ever.
Oh, and btw, the scene with Ichiru & Zero in bed when they were younger... *EXTREME MOE* Is that me, or was it more... gay than in the manga, by far?
Simply amazing. Given that I really don't understand what they are saying to each other I definitely inserted
pornishinappropriate comments to amuse myself. This is feeding into my twincest/threesome chappie like NO OTHER! *dies*December 16 2008, 01:26:49 UTC 3 years ago Edited: December 16 2008, 01:27:41 UTC
And you KNOW *I* saw the scene as gay regardless of if it felt that way to the general public or not because I fangirl all forms of incest like whoa. XD

I fan girl everyone so hard in this episodes. XD Even Seiren's mini moment. I &hearts you and your bad ass kills, Seiren.
And *sigh* all the theft. The youtube ad has A LOT of hits.

Oh god, must you say power level?
"ZERO'S POWER LEVEL IS OVER 9000! D8"
-hopes you know the joke or else you'll be completely oblivious-
The Yuki/Kaname scene was heartbreaking. ;___; I can sort of see how the anime is veering towards Zeki rather than Yuki/Kaname from that scene.
December 16 2008, 02:37:35 UTC 3 years ago
I hope I didn't make the line sound comical in the summary? XD;;;; *will edit if it's ruining the moe for others* ^^;;/
The Yuki/Kaname scene was heartbreaking. ;___; I can sort of see how the anime is veering towards Zeki rather than Yuki/Kaname from that scene.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too... if perhaps Kaname intends to push Yuuki towards Zero if he thinks it's Zero that she loves. ^^
I've been wondering that for quite a while because of how the anime often has a Zeki vibe... ^^;/
We can't know for sure because for now, none of the official info revealed in the magazine blurbs etc says anything conclusive about the endings, so for now all we know is that it's described as an open ending, but we can always theorize like whoa. *has so many fanfiction plot bunnies getting born while theorizing what might happen in the last episodes* XD;
Seeing how little time there's left, I'm more prone to believe that the ending won't be romantic either way (the magazines info also didn't mention anything romantic, so it's why I also wonder... although that we won't know for sure until the end, since blurbs are never exhaustive), but it's not impossible... if it does swing romantically in the end, there are huge chances that it goes towards Zero x Yuuki, most likely.
Even though right now we have no way to be sure of what will happen since the official info didn't say anything conclusive yet. :)

Miyano Mamoru did an epic, awesome job in this episode. If he did the dubbing of Zero and Ichiru's dialogues in one-shot, I'm going to really marvel at how he managed to switch around from one twin to the other so quickly! *is suddenly hoping for a behind-the-scenes thing from the anime and especially this episode*
Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought "Twincest!" when watching the flashbacks... and in general the rest of the scenes. XDDDD" Regardless, it's still so very sad... and I think I shall leave now to mourn watching Ichiru die a second time... though god knows I've re-read Chapter 40 countless of times already... *clings to the twins*

I doubt it was done in one shot, it wouldn't be as good that way, maybe? I think they usually do it separate when someone plays two characters...? (Especually while one is screaming and the other is whispering, switching so fast would be crazy hard. XD;;;)
But either way, it's amazing, as an actor as well... they were perfect. X3 It never seems it's the same guy, it's awesome and so hard to do.
Yeah. ;-;
This episode reminded me of how much I cried for Ichiru on chapter 40. XD;;

We see him walking after they leave the room, so at least she didn't kill him, but I had an irrational thought she'd have hurt him. ^^;; *keept looking to see if he looked hurt* It would be OOC for her to do so, but I am always wary with the anime. XD; *lol*
*hopes the last two episodes will be awesome* :D

Ok, I just wanted to say...THANK GOD I'M NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO'S FANGLIRLING THE TWINCEST RIGHT NOW. *_* While watching the scene between Ichiru and Zero, I was literally at the end of my seat just waiting for them to kiss or something (ok, they held each other really close, so I guess it was enough...but the plot bunnies inside my head are having a field day right now...)
Also, thank you so much for the translation of the Kanayuki scene. ^_^ It was a brilliant and epic scene, with Kaname kneeling and all. Although the one part I didn't like about it is that it really gives off the vibes of Zeki, instead of the couple actually present in the scene. It really goes to show how much Kaname loves Yuuki. The scene almost screamed that Kaname was giving up Yuuki to Zero, because he believes it is Zero that Yuuki chose. He's so humble. I love him. Pure and simple, I love him. It just sucks right now that when I was looking through other anime forums with people voicing their opinions of the episode, I was surprised at the level of the Kaname haters, saying he deserved to be groveling (yes, groveling. I quote my words thoroughly...) in front of Yuuki and everything he did to Zero and blah blah blah. I respect the Zero/Zeki fans and all, but...this is really going too far.... ;__;
And his voice. OH MY WORD, THE LORD IS GOOD, his voice. Daisuke Kishio...is...is...no word is worthy enough to describe his beautiful and sexy voice, especially as you said as it got lower to a whisper in the end. Even if the anime had butchered Kaname's role/character in the story to a pulp, Daisuke-san, I would have to exclude from this. As in, get him to another continent to convey the distance of the exclusion. ^^; He REALLY did justice to Kaname's character. I mean it. Kudos to him. ^_^
Once again, thank you so much for the summary and translations. ^_^ You really are heaven-sent to this small and humble community.

Hahahaha, I fangirled the Ichiru x Zero scene SO HARD is was scary.
Normally, I fangirl Zero in a pairing most with Kaname or with Kaname & Yuuki, but wow, that episode had me shipping him with Ichiru SO SO MUCH. XD<333333
In the bed scene, the things they're saying... it's of course all innocent and about their angst and the tragic situation and all, but if you take it out of context, a great deal of it would translate SO WELL into a bondagey situation... because of how Ichiru is thinking about how he knows his words will hurt Zero, and yet he has to say them, because only when he's hurting Zero he feels he exists etc, and Zero realizes Ichiru is hurting him on purpose, but doesn't minds, and is thinking that he'd do anything Ichiru wanted etc... Hohohohohoho *nosebleeds to death at the lovely sexy implications for when they're older* XD;;;; *lol*
As for the Kaname x Yuuki scene, I was so utterly moved by it that I just had to go and translate the whole thing instead of just make a summary. X3
*wanted everybody to be able to know what was being said in it without having to wait for subs*<333
Yeah... it gives a vibe that if Yuuki chose Zero, Kaname would step away and do as she pleased. Which I've always thought and said he'd do... ^^;;; *even wrote a fic on it* ^^;
Because he's just like that, he has always put her feelings and wishes far above his own. ^^; (If he didn't Zero wouldn't be alive. ^^;;;)
As he'd said before... she was born to marry him, but he'll only go with it if she will have him.<3 He's put his happiness in her hands all along. ;-; So beautiful, and so unlike people like Rido. XD;
So far, none of the official info has said there would be anything romantical at all in the ending for either pairing, but the anime does has a huge Zeki vibe, so this scene inevitably scared me for what choices might come out of it, whether said choices are shown in the anime or just hinted at as a possibility post end of the war.
And after all, the official info doesn't tells us everything, but that doesn't means there won't be surprises at the end, so we can only wait and see, for either pairing. ^^;;

Kaname - pureblood vamp
I think it's pretty obvious why Ichiru doesn't get hated.. Zero can't even hate him back when he betrayed the family.
And a lot of thieves sure romp about the net..

I love that neither of the twins can hate each other despite all that happened.<3 *long time fan of twincest* *is shot* XD
