Vampire Knight Guilty episode 2 - Fangirly summary

Random VK Guilty piccie. XD *lol*



I actually SQUEE'D ALOUD several times during the episode. XD;;;

It was WONDERFUL. *0* OH GOSH, Kaname has never looked as HOT in the anime before. Same for Zero.

Only only disappointing thing, and it came as quite a blow for me: SARA. THEY CUT HER SCENE!! T_______________T

Yuuki still had her scene where she feels insecure and all, but it was because of everybody pushing their daughters onto Kaname, rather than because of Sara.

Most people won't care one least little bit, but I like Sara. XD;;;;

It's okay, I suspect they'll reintroduce her elsewhere. :D



IT'S THE PARTY EPISODE!! OMG!!! *0*

As they did last time, they rearranged things around an itty bit, and made some changes. The changes in this episode were very much all UTTERLY AWESOMELY FANGIRLABLE. XD *lol* Except for Sara being removed. ;-;

I will always inevitably prefer the manga, but I also love the anime, and as long as the changes are pleasant ones, I don't mind them. (It's not as if it was fillers, and I suspect that the plot probably comes from Hino-sensei anyway. XD In any case, it's not clashing with the manga stuff.<3)

This is THE EPISODE that is the apotheosis of fangirling for Shiki fans and Shiki x Rima fans. They had some added scenes that were AMAZING:

1) Despite not being roommates, they were getting ready for the party together... XD While Rima fed Shiki pocky into Shiki's mouth to console him for his worries about annoying people he doesn't wants to see at the party.

2) At the party itself, Shiki's uncle (well, the uncle of Shiki's mom, to be more exact) comes to bug Shiki, and it turns out he's the reason why Shiki didn't want to come.
He gets all clingy patting Shiki all over (excuse me while I fangirl rabidly XD;;), and puts a plate of food in the table, telling Shiki to eat more, because "you're too skinny. Don't go forgetting that this body isn't just yours."
So, they really raised him as a receptacle for Rido. XD;;; Poor kid.

3) When Shiki is looking unhappy after his uncle leaves, Rima (who during the talk had gently turned around to give Shiki privacy) hands him food on her fork, and Shiki eats it. (She's so totally feeding him all the time, it's awesome. XD)

If this keeps going that way, I'll be drawing Shima fanart soon. *lol* XD *moe levels rise*

Speaking of Rido, I SQUEE'D. XD He was lovely in the episode, especially the fake crying, hahaha! XD
(Well, it's Rido in the child form of that little kid he was possessing. XD Yuuki is so lucky that the body available wasn't old enough to bite her. XD;;; He clearly would have. *lol*)


Another added scene is in front of the academy gates, Cain and Luca are walking out to go to [a car to go to] the party, and Aidou is looking annoyed. Cain asks if Aidou's dad will be at the party, and it turns out that's why Aidou is annoyed...


And a scene that was changed, the scene where Kaname meets the council and asks them to remove the execution order over Zero, and also to leave Cross Academy alone.
In the manga, Kaname goes to the Council for that. In the anime, since they were already moving into the party scene, they changed that to the scene happening inside a car, between Ichiou and Kaname + Takuma.
IT WAS SO HOT. *0*

incagold27, it was just like the scene in the car in the fic, hahaha! Well, minus the kinkyness. XD

But in any case, for people who like the interaction between Kaname and Ichiou, it was WONDERFUL, AWESOME~ *squee'd then too* XD<333

Btw, I'm a detail freak and was comparing car shapes etc: Ichiou's car is a Rolls Royce! *_*
I'd suspected it would be something classic like that, but hadn't been able to quite compare before. Am now fangirly and saving reference pics of rolls royce cars for future fanart drawing, hahaha. XD;;
I had wondered at first if it was a Jaguar, because the little symbol at the front is not the normal Rolls Royce one, but that's probably for the usual copyright etc reasons. Everything else is indeed right. :)


And speaking of changes: Ichiru appears at the party, and tells Zero he's officially working for the council. (In the manga, it wasn't quite clear whether he was working for the council itself or whether he'd infiltrated Shiki the elder's place on his own before being taken in. Ichiou in the manga had mentioned being worried about Rido's whims in keeping Ichiru around. It was almost as if Rido had taken in a pet that the council was a bit worried whether it might bite or not. XD *lol* But then again, Rido is around in the anime too, so it could also be that it's his idea that they took in Ichiru.)
In any case, Ichiru was hot. XD So was Yagari~!<3

Unlike in the manga, the council was more present at the party, despite it being hosted by the monarchy supporting side (well, they're not officially 'monarchy supporting', but from what was said of the political tendencies of the families in the manga, Aidou's family is first and foremost loyal to Kaname, and would have wished to see him King, rather than be ruled by the council.)
So some people are staring at Ichiou not too happily.

AND IT'S WONDERFUL!!

Never has Kaname been so beautifully animated. HIS HAIR, WAAAH~! HIS LIPS, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! *DIES*

WORDS CANNOT DO IT JUSTICE~ *explodes in a giant nosebleed*

I bet his hair feels soft, gyah... *wants to touch it* XD:;;
*ahem*

AAAHhhh, can't type properly, fangirling too hard. XD;;;;;

His lips look soft. *passes out*

XD;;; *JOY* I'm so glad I lived to see this animated. XD *rotfl*


As you can see, I am very happy with the episode. XD XD<333

Currently am too hyper to remember if I forgot any other scenes, but uhm, I'll edit the post or something once I get to re-watch it. XD XD

Edit: (Already. XD;;) Forgot to say, at the end of the episode we see Yuuki returning to the academy (the scene with Yori and all), and she's thinking of it all... I thought it was weird that they added Zero in the little snow thingie when this was supposed to be a Yuuki thinking of Kaname scene, and the Zero with Yuuki scenes are already all over the anime normally.
I love the addition of Zero standing in the snow looking up, though. That was awesome.
But the image of Zero and Yuuki in the snow flake things was maybe an unnecessary addition. Or at least it should have been the two and Kaname as well. XD

But it's not a major problem or anything.

After that, there's also the next day scene, where Kaname passes by Yuuki and tells her he knows she was sincere. :) (She's been angsting that her tears might have made him disappointed, thinking she wasn't serious.)

I suspect that was animated prior to the other ones, as the animation style is a bit more like the first season than in the wonderful scenes. Either that or they put more care into animating the more important scenes, which is fine too. :D



Oh, and lastly, there was a commercial for the anime, a bit before it played (Yes, I'm a freak who is glued to TV Tokyo a while in advance in case there's an inteesting ad or somehting. XDD *lol*), and so it showed a few scenes, among which Kaname in the window frame of the room, coming to pick up Yuuki... you know, just before chapter 35 of the manga. *0* *can't wait* XD XD
